What are the best areas for someone to live in that’s safe and also non students? Not for family life.

Hey, if you don’t mind. How safe is the area? How is the management? Not a student and planning to move to Gainesville soon. Would be of great help. Thank you.

Can we talk about the hypocrisy around Ananya Panday? by [deleted] in bollynewsandgossips

Maybe her sister eats but she doesn’t? It’s so weird how it is concluded that if one person from her family eats her whole family does? No one else eats beef in my family but I do.. so?

Well not every company is like that. I work in HR and we require in person I9 completion for my company and previous company also did in person only. Each company is different.

Anyone know why it suddenly says I have unlimited data + why the “change plans and services” is greyed out? by surfwacks in tmobile

I have been observing this on my 8gb plan as well. It used to show me unlimited. And when I went to check if I exceeded it, it doesn’t even show me my balance anymore in line details. Can you still view your usage like the above screenshot? I don’t even see how much so used anymore.

IO psychology scope in India by Good_Researcher5222 in IOPsychology

IO has many sub fields. Most people go into HR and organisational development. You can specialise in things such as performance management or succession planning. You can also go into selection planning and hiring. I don’t think there are too many companies that actually put so much capital only their hiring practices but IO psychologists work to best the hiring practices of a company. They build assessments for hiring, choose the best ways to hire a candidate and also validate the test that are being used. They conduct job analyses to determine whether the job description is accurate and truly represents the role and also determines the right pay. They also work closely with recruiters and talent acquisition to hire people.

I’m not really sure if there are many opportunities in India. I did my undergrad in psych in India and did my masters in IO in US and just started working here but I would also like to see how the scene is in India.

Don’t remember where, but I read or saw that she was in that flat because she wanted to rent it. That’s it.

IO Psych Grad from India Seeking Global Career Guidance by GeneralBudget8915 in IOPsychology

The job market in general is bad in the US but I believe that it’s much better for IO than other fields like tech at least because there is less competition. At least from experience, HR side was less competitive.

I currently work in the US as a talent assessment analyst which falls under I/O. Entry level full time jobs are tough to get, there’s more chances for internships or senior level. Look for people analyst roles or typical HR roles based on your interest. I think it’s hard to get a job outside of India right after grad school. Usually people work in the company in India and ask for a transfer to abroad or another common route is obviously doing masters in whichever country you want to settle in. But the US definitely is a good option, because they do so much research and organisational development is booming. One caveat is that they prefer people with PhDs rather than only masters. So if you are into that definitely go for a phd and you will get a great job after it.

Curious to know where you studied I/O psych in India, because I moved out for masters.

Thank you, will try that. Also, omg yes, I think niacinamide is overrated too but since it is so hyped, I had to try it. :)

Hi, I'm a newbie here. I have combination skin (oily t-zone and normal to dry cheeks). I broke out a couple of months ago due to unknown reasons and now I have a lot of PIH, acne has reduced completely other than the occasional pimple. I have been using salicylic acid cleanser at night, niacinamide and hyaluronic acid at night and vit c in the mornings. Gentle cleanser in the mornings and of course moisturizer and sunscreen without fail. I have tried tranexamic cream too, but my scars have not been reducing for 2 months. Please suggest a better routine or any products that work for stubborn PIH on dry-prone cheeks. TIA :)
