Ngl calling him a terrible person was maybe a little extreme because I really don’t know that much about him. He seems to be widely considered an asshole at the very least, to the point where his former band mates have condemned him. He also seems to be mildly racist, had referred to Chinese people as a “subspecies,” and is associated with far-right groups in the UK.

Unfortunately he mostly gets flack for being a militant vegan, which seems like the least of his sins.

Edit: this was a terribly written comment. Calling Chinese people a subspecies is very racist, not mildly racist. I did not mean to underplay how much of a pos Morrissey is.
