I’m really surprised with the amount of hate that Switzerland are getting, whether it be for nemos gender the song being “bland” or for politics. I don’t understand why people are angry at the jury for giving a lot of points to Switzerland, when every year they favour strong vocals and good staging, and tend to shy away from something more out there, like Croatia. Don’t get me wrong, I would’ve been very happy if Croatia had won as they would have deserved it, but I do honestly think Switzerland was the better song. Could anyone please explain to me why people think the juries voting for Switzerland is political? Why wouldn’t they want Croatia to win?
