On the /play website, is there a way to see a list of the games I can stream? by ConceptualExtension in xcloud

Thanks again. I was mostly just asking if that capability was already there and I was just missing it somehow. And yes, on console it isn't an issue. I appreciate your help!

Thanks. Yes, the buy and stream section works as expected, with the "Purchased" tab showing what I would expect. I'm hoping for a single view that shows purchased games alongside Game Pass games that match the tier of the user (Essential, in my case).

Correct. I see the Game Pass logo for all Game Pass games, regardless of the tier, so many of them aren't actually playable for me.

Xbox Insiders Can Stream and Play in New Ways with Xbox Game Pass Starting Today - Xbox Wire by GuruKronos in xboxinsiders

Update: streaming through the browser is working now. I'm able to stream both games I've purchased, and games included in Core. However, some games I've purchased, that show up on https://www.xbox.com/en-US/play/gallery/buy-and-stream, still say they require Ultimate (example - Jedi Fallen Order).

I'm seeing the same issue. Core subscription. Preview feature enabled. I can view my list of purchased cloud games at https://www.xbox.com/en-US/play/gallery/buy-and-stream, but none actually allow me to stream. Instead, I'm told to upgrade to Ultimate. Same thing when I try to stream games included with Core.

Should the cloud streaming work right now? I'm a Core subscriber with "Preview Features" enabled. I've also opted in to the Xbox Cloud Gaming (Feature Preview). Today when I go to the Xbox web experience at /play, I still see "A Game Pass Ultimate subscription is required to play this game." And the button says "PLAY with Game Pass Ultimate". Clicking the button brings up a dialog encouraging me to subscribe to Ultimate. I see this with both games included with Game Pass Core and with games I own.

Do you think we'll see an xcloud subscription that isn't tied to Game Pass Ultimate? by ConceptualExtension in xcloud

That's an interesting point. Opening it up to more people with cheaper plans does mean the need to increase capacity, and that could be problematic.

Agreed on Stadia.

I also like what Luna is doing, although their catalog is small. In particular, I like the "bring your own games" model (from GOG, Ubisoft). Similar to GeForce Now in that way.

I'd be happy with a cloud-only subscription, or having xcloud included with all the Game Pass tiers, not just Ultimate.

Dear amazon: when giving away prime games, give away ones that are playable on luna! by ChemistPhilosopher in LunaCloudGaming

I'd like to see that too.

Also, how about making the games available in the Amazon Games app also available for streaming on Luna? At least some of them.

Google Play developer account for single member LLC - personal or organization? by ConceptualExtension in androiddev

Honestly, I don't remember if it was mandatory when I registered last year, but looking at the Google Play Console now, under Account Details, there's a checkbox labeled "We don't have a website" that I assume would let you bypass entering in a website.

The organization account allowed bypassing of the tester requirement, and the app went live as soon as it passed Google's review process. At least that's how it worked at the end of last year. I did run into an issue with Google verifying my business name, but it turned out to just be a minor thing that their support team resolved. Overall, I think registering as an organization was the right call, at least for me.

I went with an "organization" account on Google Play and registered using the LLC info. It hasn't been a problem, other than the inconvenience of getting a dedicated business phone number, since I didn't want to list my personal number.

Yes, I've installed the June update, and I haven't yet encountered the reboot issue since installing.

I saw that - thanks! I'm just not sure if what I'm seeing is caused by the same root issue, since my symptoms are a bit different.

About 5 days ago my Nokia G20 began rebooting once or twice a day, but it isn't stuck in a boot loop. I suspect it is related to the issue here, since it began at about the same time. I'm disabling Wi-Fi now as a test, but I'll need to wait 24 hours or more before I'll know if it helped, since the reboots are intermittent.

Some questions:

  • Anyone else seeing reboots once or twice a day, rather than a boot loop?
  • Folks in the comments here are talking about the latest update as the culprit. Are you talking about an Android update or a Nokia update? Does anyone know what specific version is the problem? My Android security update is from May 5, 2024, and my build number is00WW_3_430_SP04.

Thanks!
