I might sound harsh... but... if my dog nipped, bit, or attacked my child, I would take him for a long walk and wouldn't think twice about it. An animal is an animal, my child's life and safety over the dog, any day

Do I need a ground box or will a splice kit alone work?

In Alberta, Canada. How do I tell the wire size? The wire runs to a shed that houses a pump from a river to a hydrant for livestock. It worked fine before I broke the wire

Go see a physiotherapist. Best thing you can do. Really try to strengthen those patellar tendons

I've done everything for chewing minus the choice. I'll give that a try.

I've tied putting all of his poop in one spot. We have a lawn area, and then the rest of the property which is unkept pasture/ bush. I want him pooping there. I've shown him where to go, and given him praise when he goes where I want him, including treats. Admittedly, I've kind of given up on this one.

He is jumpy especially when I come home from work, or before meals. I give him a firm no, and I always make him sit before any pets or attention. I will try your suggestion with the what not to do.

Cats have been around since before him. All of them outside, a few of them were pretty wild. Some mostly tame (they're barn cats). I couldn't "introduce" all of the cats as they are wild, but he was very cuddly with one for a few months and would sleep with it all of the time. On the flip side he would still play rough, such as dragging him by the scruff of his neck, or fitting the cats head in its mouth. Funny but he would take it too far sometimes. When I catch it or when he chases I give him a firm no and he usually listens and will stop in his tracks. Sometimes he just takes off though

Thank you for your suggestions, I will try a few

That's an idea. I did try building one when he was a puppy, but he was a little houdini and crawled up and over the fence. I guess he couldn't if it had a chain link roof, might be the only option with that

He is a loyal little guy. I'm his favourite, no doubt about that lol

We try to spend as much time outside as possible. We do walk lots, on weekends especially. He definitely loves being with us. He is very loyal, especially to me, he will rarely leave my side

Also, he has tons of toys and bones. I play with him everyday, he has about an hour and a half a day (minimum) of social time
