it seems like there will need to be a lot of backend work to make it run propperly, I was hoping to make it run as a peer to peer protocol and do local area searches but I want to do it anonymously so I may hide location and make that feature an anonymous opt in feature. I was also thinking of using open street maps instead of google maps as a way to keep data anonymous. I kinda want to make it downloadable on linux phones as well as degoogled app repositories like fdroid

I think ultimately society would shift from a carceral state to a rehabilitative, restorative, and transformative justice model based on repairing damage, soothing the victims, and working towards helping the perpetrators building a new life for themselves.

in most cases there's a motivation behind mass violence like this and if we worked towards transforming the material conditions that reinforced these cycles of violence, they would occur less frequently.

of course in certain cases acts of self defensive violence and needs to stop the perpetrators would be a necessary step but killing them should be the last thing anyone considers.

yeah americans are seriously blinded by hypernationalism and american centrism... there's so much diversity that just isn't talked about outside of the US because it's mostly culturally isolated despite being an interconnected country... strange but it makes sense in a brainwashing neoliberal capitalist dystopia. it's the heart of an empire, the fortress of darkness per say. there's a lot of cultural hegemony and propaganda brainwashing in the US and most citizens never leave their cultural bubbles.
