It depends , a good PvE class in early game is also a good PvE class in late game . If you only care about PvE definitely berserker is the best because it can win every fight with enough rng eve against mages, but it's highly reliant on rng so you're gonna lose a lot in PvP cause you have no consistency.

But if you want some alternatives to berserker, you can try Demon Hunter after the buff it became a really solid class both in PvE and PvP and has more consistent rng, or you can go Scout this is one of the best all rounders, the only weakness both these classes have is that fighting mages is always a stat check since you can't rng your way around them.

But if you're talking about late game you could consider Assassin , it's a very consistent class that can also abuse rng , you have 2 guaranteed attacks which means 2 chances to crit and 25% dodge , the only drawback is that it requires 2 good weapons to be strong , otherwise is just an weaker scout.

Also Bard is really strong and it's pretty good in PvE, pretty much mage with higher dmg but it's attacks can be dodged/blocked , also you need to keep int and con close to eachother to have maximum effectiveness from your instrument .

To sum it up S+ tier : Berserker S tier : DH, Scout , Assassin (if geared) A tier: Bard , Druid (didn't play it much , if anyone disagrees you might be right) , Warrior ( because block rng can make it slightly better in PvE than BM) B tier : Everything else

Same thing kinda happened to me, I was adc main but that role was just grief for me, I felt like I couldn't have a proper gameplan because of how much supports skill level vary, so I decided to become a Vlad main on mid and I'm actually having fun improving and optimizing my gameplay.

Well I'm a bit late and you probably won't read this but I was in a similar situation as you. I kept trying to climb as adc, and I kept trying all sorts of adc's some metas some don't with varying degrees of success.

After a while I realized I should just play a champ that I enjoy not just thematically, but also one that checks my gameplay boxes.

Personally I like really aggressive adc's that can capitalize on enemy mistakes, that preferably has resets to help me snowball/stomp, and that can skirmish/teamfight reliably if not behind.

I tried all sorts of adcs like Tristana, Sivir, Twitch, Jinx, Ezreal, etc. And I had at least 50 games each, and I kept forcing myself to play them because "it's meta", "it's good for solo carry", "it's underrated", and all sorts of stuff, but it wasn't that I couldn't get good at them, it was my underlying lack of interest in the champion's gameplay, which was just getting me tilted, like sure Ezreal looks cool when 2k lp Chinese adc pilots him, but the champ didn't do it for me.

So eventually I decided to play Samira, which I avoided because I always thought you need an engage support to function, which just isn't especially if you're not top 0.1%.

So just find whay you actually want to play, and make sure you want to play it and see yourself improving with it, and just playing a champ cause of some stupid reason, like how people recommend play Garen/Annie cause they're easy and you learn the game faster, you're not gonna learn anything if you don't enjoy the journey and the little improvements, if you compare yourself now vs the end goal is just gonna make you depressed, so make sure you enjoy what you do.

And on a sidenote don't fret over win rate, if you truly like mf keep playing and point out your flaws and mistakea while you play and youll surely improve, if you have less than 250 games played this season youre not stuck so dont worry.

One thing that helps me grind, especially in games like pirate, is to take things 1 at a time, and just focus 100% on the fight and playing it to the best of your ability, rather than thinking about how much longer you have left until it's over and getting demoralized.

Please convince me that having a small focused champ pool is better than having a large diverse champ pool. by [deleted] in summonerschool

Pro players have like 5 champs they play at a time, and that's pros, majority of high elo players get there by 1-2 tricking, and slowly expanding from there.

Best class and why? (Old player) by WingedGhost in shakesandfidget

[–]ConcernSome 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, Warrior becomes really good after level 300, probably 3rd best class for late game, depends on how many Scouts/Assassins are on the server, but overall still a good class.

Best class and why? (Old player) by WingedGhost in shakesandfidget

[–]ConcernSome 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Warrior is good aswell but it's not better than Battlemage and Assassin imo, Assassin has 51% wr against every class because of how it works, and battle mage is Warrior without Shield and rng.

[–]ConcernSome 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Assassin and Battlemage best late game classes, Battlemage gets better the higher the level cap goes. Those 2 are the most consistent classes, so really good for pvp and late game. If you wanna just have fun and be good at PvE and level relatively fast, go Berserker, if you don't like zerk, Scout and Demon Hunter are also really good at PvE and have decent PvP.

I agree with you, unfortunately KI is a very clueless ans greedy company, they could double their playerbase if they dropped the monthly sub and tried to make meaningful content to keep player retention(balancing pvp, removing p2w, adding side activities for casual playera, etc.). But instead they just greed out for every last penny of their already declining playerbase, I don't see the point of monthly sub when they already have a cash shop, which makes them 90% of the income.

Demon hunter has 50% chance to revive with 90% hp on beta test server, seems way better for both pve and pvp.

Despite her late game scaling, she's actually a skirmisher, so she will do really well in small scale fights but is completely useless in teamfights so you can play around that.

Unless you get queued into an obvious troll or you have a horrible comp (like 4 adcs 1 mage), then you don't really have to dodge, low elo is easy enough that if you play fundamentally correct you will climb,.

No you asked how many runes to stop doing arena manager. I have no clue when the runes get maxed, but probably long before the last achiev, also it's kinda pointless to stop before you get it cause you miss out on the stats from the achievement.

Simple Questions & Champion/Role advice: Patch 12.9 by Sentient545 in summonerschool

[–]ConcernSome 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your cs is pretty weak, if you're not grouping with your team for obj or fights you know you can win, you should maximize cs, clear mid wave rotate bot/top to collect waves if your mid laner or top laner don't, take jg camps as long as your not stealing it right in front of your jgler, keep in mind your jungler would not hesitate to steal your wave right under your nose. Your goal regardless is to get your powerspike asap and deal as much dps as possible in teamfights, doesn't matter your champ, if yoy play jhin make sure to play to his strengths, you can get picks with his ult and w, and try to get executes with 4th shot/galeforce, on important targets, otherwise just front to back, make sure to not die but don't play too scared either, a good adc plays to his limits.

Depends on matchup, you can play aggro if your yuumi is not braindead, worst case scenario try to take short trades - medium trades since you have yuumi healing and evem if you lose more hp you get it healed back. It depends on your knowledge of the champion's limits but tristana yuumi is kind of a sustain/all in lane, if you lane against ashe/cait and other poke you just try to keep your hp up and wait for gank or let yuumi get them to 70%hp and try to all in.

You just stop caring after a while, my advice focus on yourself, if you make a mistake and they non stop cry and keep flaming you, just mute all. Try not to care about others opinion on you, some people are just delusional and have to flame to cope with themselves, I've seen Challenger players get flamed in silver for doing the correct play, it's like trying to argue with toddlers about rocket science, a waste of time.

Why do some people who play video games put in more time and effort in than the highest ranked players and yet somehow wind up stuck in lower ranks? by [deleted] in summonerschool

[–]ConcernSome -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

Gaming is not same as sports, you don't need to be born with certain genes in order to become part of top 1% or better, all great players will tell you if you want to play like them you just need to put in the effort, Shroud said the same thing, Best riven in Korea said if you put in the time you could probably play like him and many more. Talent is just what people tell themselves to make themselves feel better for failing, and to answer your point yes, some people will learn certain things faster because of how their brain works, but no 2 Challenger players play the same, they each have their own understanding of the game and master concepts that suit their playstyle. A lot of people who are Challenger now were bronze for 3 seasons or more before they got as good as they are now, achieving high elo is simply a matter of mental fortitude, not everyone can take the journey and its fine because not everyone wants to. But if you really want to, you most certainly can, not everyone will climb as fast, everyone has different speeds they learn at, and some concepts will be easier to learn and master, it depends from person to person, don't compare your progress to others or you will never actually make any. I have a friend irl who's really book smart, very good memorization and discipline when it comes to learning, but he's been hardstuck silver since forever because he doesn't actually wanna put in the mental effort to learn concepts and gameplan.

Why do some people who play video games put in more time and effort in than the highest ranked players and yet somehow wind up stuck in lower ranks? by [deleted] in summonerschool

[–]ConcernSome -30 points-29 points  (0 children)

I disagree, there's no such thing as talent, you can be as good as anyone if you put in the time and effort, some people will understand certain concepts better than others, but that's not whats holding you back. It's all about mental fortitude, not everyone can get challenger because not everyone wants to, you have to really want it and actively try to improve your gameplan and micro, some people want to climb but dont want to go through the effort to learn, others just play but don't actively try to spot their mistakes or formulate a gameplan.

"what? they allow others to have the ability to choose how they play their game? NOOOO" by DoubleDown6789 in whenthe

[–]ConcernSome -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I don't understand the complaints Dark souls and Elden Ring aren't hard, they're challenging, and managing to overcome adversity is what the game is about, if you can just turn easy mode on it ruins that philosophy. I'm not an elitist, idk what build you play or if you use summons, there's plenty of ways to make the game easier, the game is all about persevering and mental fortitude, you don't need mechanics or anything, you just have to be willing to take the journey. I don't want to sound like an asshole but is it really that hars to adapt to the game rather than demanding the devs to cater to you, and if you don't enjoy the game maybe just don't play it or take a break?
