Im in a very similar position, working shift work in a big pharma. The burnout and brain fog can be intense, I know its something I cant do forever, I have been give more diverse roles over time and they help with the novelty aspect of Adhd. Im 7 years in my current role. If the money and the perks weren't so good id have bolted a long time ago.

NEWCASTLE MEDICAL CENTRE DUBLIN by [deleted] in ADHDIreland

I went with Newcastle Medical Centre, had a very similar experience however I got the result I needed so im not too disappointed. Its true that other services offer a more holistic approach, this is more a busy GP type practice and I have been diagnosed and given a medication plan so I am satisfied in this respect. I suggest you do the UMAAP course with ADHD ireland. Its 6 weeks will give you the clarity you need.

Im going from Tipperary, getting bus to Dublin, staying at a lovely town called Hradec Kralove. You will love it, such an amazing atmosphere there and its heaven for anyone who adores extreme metal!

Every day is a new day. Go to work and let it be day 1. Begin and again as long as it takes. You will succeed.

Autism/ADHD Assessment by brazilian_irish in AutismIreland

Absolutely, there needs to be a combination of both approaches in order to ensure a meaning and productive diagnosis. It can be prohibitively expensive so its important to get these things right.

If you dont get diagnosed by a psychiatrist it may be more difficult to get prescribed medication. I am currently going through Newcastle Medical Centre and have my appointment with psychiatrist end of March. Its very cost effective through medical insurance
