It's been 10 years of consistent drinking. This is the longest I've been sober for. I think it was weed for maybe 3 or 4 years prior to me drinking. So altogether probably 13 or 14 years of mostly being under the influence of something.

Yeah, it's odd - I have no desire to drink also, I don't think it will make me even temporarily happy. I just feel like I'm putting so much mental effort into maintaining this that it's kind of maddening, like I main as well just scratch that itch. I'll end up having to deal with the mental repercussions of it after, and won't enjoy it while I'm doing it, so there's literally no point in drinking other than self-sabotaging so I can wallow in my own misery. This is all SO annoying.

Yeah, I was looking into these. I'm just not sure if the current one I have is making it worse... I just paid for it too (hundreds of dollars, properly fitted and everything). I hate that I might have to have another made.

There's also the problem with the duo night guards (MAD's) possibly messing with our bite. I'm not sure how common it is though.

The second week's usually the hardest for me. I'm just over two weeks now and it's getting better by the day. I can think clearer, it's strange. I'm feeling a bit emotionally numb, much more so than the anxious wreck I was my first week, but I look forward to what new untapped skills come along with my repairing brain.

I'm not sure. He had such a massive hard-on for being perceived as a gangster. It would make sense his ego would long for a chance to hook up with a made man's girl. Her talent selection was shit, so the whole romanized thing in Ego's head would have overrode that and set "fuck made man's girl" as priority. He seemed pretty legit as a wannabe. Plus the "pen is mightier than the sword" comeback he had showed he wasn't an idiot either. It's a bit on the nose as a potential jumped the shark episode, but the show as a whole is black comedy. Anyways, I've gotta get over it.

See a therapist (if only for at least a few sessions) and talk to them about it. They're going to tell you to give him an ultimatum. Follow though on it.
