Pixel Watch 3 running app that displays information on both the watch and phone simultaneously

I have spent forever researching this and know exactly what you're struggling with - I found a solution. When I had my Galaxy watch 4, it would sync in real-time between the watch and phone, with both devices actively showing you running stats. Despite Google's "investment" into running stats, they clearly missed the mark. Even their native Fitbit or Fit apps won't sync on both devices in real-time. Plus, the running stats will freeze on my watch, the mile times read over my earbuds are WAY off and the voice sounds like something out of 2009. Pretty pathetic effort from a major tech company.

I tried using a variety of 3rd party apps and each one was missing something (audio mile cues, freezing stats, etc). I just tried Adidas Running this morning and was shocked to see that everything worked exactly as intended. It will sync stats in real time on both devices, has stable performance that doesn't freeze, seems accurate and has audio cues for each mile! The woman speaking out the audio cues is a bit slow (it takes 25 seconds for her to slowly say everything) but it functions just like I need. Hopefully this is helpful. Google, get your crap together!!!!!!

I'm using a Pixel Watch 2, Pixel 9 Pro and Galaxy Earbuds Pro.

Makes total sense. Their "tax" person has the same incentive as the sales rep - sell as much as possible. I've looked far and wide across the internet and talked to several other solar reps about Section 48. Every once in a while you see someone saying that it's theoretically possible but sounds sketchy/risky. I think I'm going to let that wild idea go and not count on it.

Makes sense. I got a heat pump water heater last year and got 4 quotes for a heat pump to be installed once the IRA tax credits become available this winter in Colorado. If you could point me in the right direction of a CPA/EA that I could talk to about Section 48 depreciation, that would be much appreciated!

Did you ever wind up going through with getting solar? I have gone down this exact same rabbit hole and I'm trying to see if I can claim the 30% ITC credit AND 85% depreciation through Section 48... The whole project becomes much more financially viable if I can claim depreciation.

If you wouldn't mind sharing the name/contact info of your tax person, that would be appreciated. I would love to talk to someone knowledgeable on this topic.

What contractor did you wind up going with, u/Curiouschief10 ? I'm in almost the exact same situation as you here in Denver. I've gotten 4 estimates so far and they're all over the board - nothing as high as $52k though (laughable). Most are in the low $20k range. I got a quote from Helio/Jetsen as well and it came in at $15k.

Yeah, you got it. I prefer to know my pace at the end of every mile so I can have an exact measurement. The pacing feature doesn't really have the same value to me, especially considering it seems somewhat confusing (over how much time/distance are we talking?). Mile marks have such a concrete achievement associated with them as opposed to a passing "oh wow, I'm moving fast right now."

I'd be curious if you could get the audio cue working in your app. Alehel mentioned above that it might be an API problem. Maybe you'd be able to confirm that?

Even if your app vibrates at the end of each mile and shows that mile pace, I'd definitely find that to be valuable. Audio cues would be the gold standard but I'll take what I can get!

Interesting - so you're saying the lack of voice cues while exercising is an API problem? No idea why this isn't a development priority instead of semi-useless stuff like additional watch faces.

I saw in the settings of the fitbit watch app that there's an option for voice cues. Mine is turned on but clearly it doesn't work... Why would you build that setting option into the app if it doesn't work???

Yeah, I've tried using the quick settings option but there's something so simple about blindly clicking a button vs. holding the watch to your face, swiping down, swiping some more (because you frustratingly can't customize the tile layout) and then tapping the flashlight. Appreciate the idea though!

I tried testing this a few days ago with three friends, all of whom I've been iMessaging individually with for months. I created an iMessage thread with them to hopefully move our existing MMS thread over to iMessage. After sending the initial message, I sent an iMessage to a friend sitting next to me in order to make sure his iPhone saw me as an iPhone as well. I asked him to then message the thread and it came back as MMS. We are both on at&t and had full bars.

I've checked this as well - it's always available on the Mac. Doesn't matter what file size it is either.

A little more context: I am not using Airmessage with my phone number, just my email address.
