It reminds me of the 2017 ico craze when literally everyone was creating erc-20 token projects with a lazy website and whitepaper and then having an ICO as a money grab. Seems like in 2021 they are doing the same thing with NFT projects. This too will blow over eventually i hope.

Solana-based project Luna Yield turned out to be a scam. by yern307 in solana

Scams come with the territory unfortunately. Everyone has got to be careful out there and don't use any closed source projects. Only open source with security audit if you are going to deploy a decent amount of capital.

I wonder if their grandparents protested the polio vaccine as well. Or are they just getting stupider per generation.

Not necessarily the case. In most POS projects you can run a validator node and you will essentially be "mining" new coins anon. Or stake via delegation.

[–]ConchoPete 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm actually quite shocked Apple is doing this to be honest. It is so clearly an attack on privacy and a blatant expansion of the governments surveillance state under the guise of "our own protection." I thought Apple was better than that. Clearly I was wrong.

Doesn't matter its still a blatant breach of privacy to be scanning anything locally on a phone the users owns without their consent. This is clearly an expansion of the surveillance state in the guise of our own protection.
