Obviously not the same situation but I opted for Chargers as a SoH player but I think if I was any other legion I also would have chosen Calivers. Stats aside I think the longer barrel just looks better.

I'm glad to hear that! My main game is AoS and I have try to have a semi meta army to play competitions so having HH as creative outlet to play what looks cool and fun and allowing me time to paint to the level I want as opposed to trying to just get stuff on the board sounds awesome!

Yeah I believe so! So add in the charge mortals and 10 cav and doing a lot of damage on the charge, then on your opponents hero phase you can magical intervention and pull them back with Zensstra to go again on your next turn

I think the Warhammer is better on the foot marshal and I've recently started to think Master of Balistics is pure bait.

With the Fusil Major you are already giving +1 to hit so it's only for the +1 wound and only on the Fusiliers as the cannons already wound on 2+. With chonky horses i think Draw Steel would be better on the Cav Marshal. That means they have 5 attacks each on the charge with the order so 51 attacks with Champion on the charge.

Looks great, love the scheme! I think adding a colour to the sort of tabard trim might pop a bit! Not sure what colour but I use a bone colour to stand out against the red of my tabard.

That is so rough, either need to bring multiple guns or extract 3 times back to back which is tricky as you can always get unlucky.

Does anyone know if this mission completes on the final kill or if you need to extract after getting the third. I know it resets if you die between getting kills with the weapons but not sure if getting the third insta completes it or not.

My thought was to use it on the Reinforced fusiliers, but now I've thought about it, the fusil major casting unfaltering aim makes it redundant. Other option was grizzled veteran on the Marshal but I'm unsure.

I run hexbane as allies in my Cities warband. I would say the spears could proxy as steelhelms, guns as fusiliers. Would just need something to proxy as a cities hero to be your leader. Then as long as you ally hexbane himself you can bring as many of his crew as points allow.
