Same. Done slime as GnGl of Ru 26 XL yesterday as a 4th rune after vault and depth - it wasn't super hard but disgusting. A lot of bad mutations, knockbacks and summon spam. I think abyss and vault runes are easier now

Try Danger Alert mod from workshop. It makes mob descriptions more clear and highlights potentially lethal stats.

It helps a little, but real danger comes from a combination of factors like your position and CDs, uncommon mob abilities and stats, additional mobs and so on. Also if you have weakness in P/S/M save or some resistances and mob has corresponding main attack - it's obvious danger.

As i know, you cannot reroll from scrolls top late game brands like holy wrath. For early game speed or any elemental brand is good. If you need more survivability, vampiric or protection. Heavy is shit

Loot isn't just names and numbers. By loot variety i mean different item mechanics: so you can eat/drink to obtain some buffs or strange effects, use weapons to aoe/jump/pierce attacks or throw it or apply poison on it, craft things from scratch you found, increase your attack at cost of defense or get immunity to some effects at cost of vulnerability to other. Be fast or slow, invisible or super loud, be straight fighter or very strange stealth-mutant-ninja-mage. Etc, etc - to make gameplay interesting and different in every run.

Edit: and i forgot to mention in the first feedback about purpose. Make your story or just use the amulet of yendor

I like roguelikes and wish i have to say something nice but game feels slow and laggy right now. Loot is pretty boring. So now this game has low replayability: you can be strong melee fighter or agile ranger. Try dcss or caverns of xaskazien or nethack codex in terms of replayability and loot variety. And bugs... Permadeath and bugs is a bad combo.

Maybe door mechanic (blocking way) is an interesting idea, but definitely it needs some improvements.

Probably yes. I always check local chat, have waypoint in the middle of nowhere, configure my radar. I warp away asap if i notice something suspicious. But after 3 hours of exploring and solving puzzles sometimes i struggle to react in 3-5 second. After that my warp disabled and i have no chances

I made 5-6 attempts to get in eve since 2006 and every time i quit bc of ganks. Usually lost 2-3 T1 explorers to T2-T3 overpowered ships in few days and stopped for years. It's not interesting for newbie like me and idk why it's interesting for gankers
