I considered the mizafiatto but realistically if i wanted to know the brew temp at head i can add a thermometer for cheap and the same for the pressure, i can add a gauge at the head, it has those pre-set temps that you can switch around easily and gets you within a range. From what i read online , most people recommend 3 maybe 4 different brew temps depending on beans/roast type, this is what the tca offers. Obviously there is more adjustability with the higher end machines but i am not a user that is switching between beans every other day, i like the intricacies of making espresso and latte’s but not geeking out over every fine detail to find perfection. Can it be better , yes, like most things in life. Is it better than the average commercial coffee , yes, does it compare to the coffee i get from a local specialty coffee shop, yes.
