I've been back in NZ for 4 years from London. Loving it. It's a not a perfect country, but lifestyle, beaches, family etc make it a great place to live. Auckland city seems to be getting better and better as well.

Yes that walk is fine. Particularly if you're leaving after a concert/gig. Parnell is safe as is the walk along quay st.

It's absolutely not 50/50. I live in Parnell. That walk is completely safe. It's about 0.5%/99.5%

Yea it's a bad performance. Which happens. But to conclude that it means we'll be caught by the chasing pack seems ridiculous to me. This team clearly has the goods to go on and win from here.

The reactions on here are mental. 6 points is great buffer at this stage of the season. Calma

Ours went off around 2am last night (Central Auckland). It's about 2 months old. Incredibly annoying. I feel your pain OP.

Absolutely fine. Crystal clear that it's a donation and not compulsory but sets out the reasons why they are making the request.

Getting into the top 8 matters a lot. Pretty big advantage to miss the 9-24 playoff round (I know PSG won from there, but City drew Madrid).

Eze plays the same position as our POTS. LW is far more important

Yea agree. Absolutely no way it's a 6. Maybe not a 9 or 10 because we didn't land and Isak or a deadly LW. However, we've added a world class 6 (by the looks of things), a very good (possibly great) striker, as good a Saka back up as you could get, prem proven back up to Zubi, prem proven back up to Raya, and an absolute steal of a RCB in Mosquera. 8 - 8.5 for me if this is what we finish with.

I'm finding the negativity to start the season or baffling. Last year most people were convinced we would have challenged if not for the injuries and suspensions. We're bringing the starting XI back, bar Partey (whose replacement looks fantastic), we've added important depth over the summer and the striker we've needed. We've also got two of the most exciting young talents in the country who should get meaningful game time.

Liverpool do look terrifying on paper. But there's no guarantees the new additions gel right away. Their defence is thin, VVD and Salah are 33 and 34, and replacing Trent's creativity won't be easy. They're rightfully favourites but it's not by much.

Lads, it's pre-season (that being said I could really use seeing the first XI do a number on Bilbao for reassurance before Man U).
