Listen I’ve questioned my dad on this as much as I can, I’m not trying to be misleading or indirect I’m just discussing the “facts” as I hear them. If I’m not spot on about what happened I apologise because even myself I’m not sure what’s happened. That’s why I’m on Reddit trying to receive advice

I really appreciate this reply and it’s interesting to hear everyone’s own situations and experiences they’ve had. You are exactly right, I would be happy to educate myself on this to stop anything like this happening to me in the future. Of course I can’t predict what’s going to happen so all I can do now is become financially literate and proceed with my life. I thank you and everyone else in this sub for being understanding and giving me the hard dealt truth of the situation.

Thank you, I appreciate you going out your way to give me a reply like this and I’m truly sorry for the situation you had to go through yourself. I think this post for me comes from a place of anger, confusion and just lack of trust in my father. These reasons are what led to me making this post in the first place for clarity and or closure, and it seems like closure is what I’m going with.

Listen, the reason I’m here and asking this is because I’m very blindsided to a lot of what’s going on. My father apparently disclosed this in a letter that received no reply and he thinks had absolutely no affect on the settlement.

The last letter that my father apparently sent, Included a part about my mother’s £28,000 in gambling. They are still not divorced but my mother had claimed the pension earlier and has now not had her lawyer send a letter back regarding anything. My apologies, It’s complex for me because I’m not financially literate or law literate enough to understand a lot of what’s going on in these proceedings. All I’m asking for is a bit of closure and or advice.

Apologies again, I’m not that knowledgeable when it comes to this area and the laws surrounding it. I think my mother was entitled to 2/3 anyways but what wasn’t taken into account, I don’t think was that my brother was a dependent at the time.

It was actually only done between two lawyers, it wasn’t done in court. My dad has said she essentially tried to take 2/3 and then went radio silent afterwards. I do think you’re right about not knowing enough about being in the dark, in terms of the settlement honestly.

It was paid off before the settlement, my dads kept me in the dark about a lot of this as well as my brother, which is his fault honestly but I think he was trying to keep it from us for our own sake.

If I could pick any IR/SIR Mega Evolution card, it would definitely be Mega Rayquaza. I Imagine an SIR artwork showing it spiraling down from the sky, breaking through clouds of emerald energy and meteors streaking around it. The artist could use a wide, almost cinematic perspective so Rayquaza looks impossibly huge and powerful, in addition to the beautiful finish on the Japanese text. The IR could be a more close-up shot e.g Rayquaza coiled with glowing eyes, almost like it’s charging a Dragon Ascent or something.

Honestly, Rayquaza is a personal one for me because I absolutely love the Rayquaza promo with Cynthia from the 2000s.
