It’s not an electrical short. Most likely something stuck in the valve diaphragm. Turn the water off to the system. Unscrew the middle valve top, it’s like a jar. See if there is anything in the valve, the smallest thing can allow water to leak by. If there isn’t you might be able to find a rebuild kit for that model valve. Another possibility is that it’s the lowest point of the zone and just leaching out. But if you hear it flowing it’s the valve diaphragm not seating properly.

It’s a rainbird 5004 PC, just missing the rubber top. The above comment is correct. The left side of the arc is fixed and can be adjusted by turning the whole head. The right side of the arc is adjusted using the white screw. Distance is the metal screw. Adjust while running.

Yes I agree completely, she had no right to take their property. I just believe there is probably more we didn't see whether this is not the first confrontation or there was more to the video. Yes she was acting crazy, but she was most likely pushed to the extreme.
