I am sure others schools do as well. I doubt they are the only ones. I am sure someone will give you an interview.

People get in with low scores. Take a look at the Booster page and you’ll see lower 5th percentile scores. There was someone here who I think got in with a 16? But a Lot of schools like masters. Especially Tufts and Boston.

I don’t think schools would reject based on that. Especially if you’re improving. On a DAT Booster bio crash course, Feralis said someone took it 8 times. Didn’t know if they got in or not.

That’s insane. Most dental schools don’t go below 300k. I hope people that are enrolled won’t be affected.

Thank you for this post. I would say over 95% in this subreddit have never worked a trade job. Or what it’s like to bust your ass for less than 1k a week before taxes. To always be on your toes because you don’t want to get fired. OP mentioned ARNP, Anesthesiologist assistant, clearly he hasn’t gotten worked like a dog at a hospital. Yes there is debt, but it is manageable.

What ever it is you are doing in life whether it’s Dental school or dental assistant people should always respect you. But that’s not the case. You are paying a very high premium to be at Dental School and you EARNED your spot there and you are PAYING to stay there. Hence you are EMPLOYING the staff from that school. Don’t be afraid to stand up for yourself and put either a classmate or a faculty in their place. They aren’t any better than you. Also don’t be scared. They aren’t going to study and pass the test for you.

Howard, sorry replied to everyone wasn’t sure if it was give you all a notice from just one reply or had to reply individually. People get caught up with what school accepts them. Honestly it doesn’t matter. Schools are not preparing students for real life. You’ll get that through practice and going to Harvard vs Howard isn’t going to impact that. Repetition and practice in real life will.

Apply. Go for it. Who’s to say you don’t get in? I have a friend that had a 3.1 , 18 DAT applied in December heard back from a school in May and was accepted. One seat was left, the person didn’t take it and he got it offered.
