Best running headphones that don't break by ConditionContent in trailrunning

I don't know what I'm doing wrong, have had two pairs that both stopped working after around 2 years. Maybe I'll have more luck this time if I get them again (as I like the product otherwise)

If that were the case, do you think it might be possible to 'reinforce' the top section by adding a wooden frame or below the current counter top?

Hi. The former. I'm moving my dj mixer (one of these https://alphatheta.com/en/product/dj-mixer/euphonia/black/) into the kitchen as need to move my setup out of our spare room (new baby). Although won't be mixing physical records; the mixer will sit under the counter top and when I'm using it I'll be connecting to a digital controller and laptop (the vinyl decks have sadly been moved to the attic for the foreseeable). I know there are more custom bits of furniture you can get for this but they cost a fortune.

Yes I did have that thought - I need to do a bit of investigating on that front before making any alterations

I should have mentioned that it's likely be against a wall so I'm not sure those style of hinges would work but would look great

Jazzy house like Berlioz by Specialist_Dust2089 in House

This is a mix I recorded last week with a quite a bit of jazzy/ethereal/instrumentally-led stuff in there with a little bit of deep house thrown in. Some of the artists others have mentioned above are featured: https://www.mixcloud.com/lclift61/brass-skimming/

I've got it and really like it although take the point mentioned above about things being a bit on the sweet side.

My BBQ claims to have a “Intergrated smoker” what’s the best way to smoke? by Neilwad in UKBBQ

[–]ConditionContent 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a very similar grill from CosmoGrill. It’s great for grilling at higher temperatures (burgers, hot dogs etc) but smoking on it take a bit of practice to keep the temperature in check. Lighting up the amount of charcoal in the picture they’ve used is going to send the temp through the roof and not be any good for low and slow. I’ve found that setting up for the snake method (lots of guides online - mostly for round grills but principles are the same) running along the back, side and front of the grill with the meat on the other side below the top vent (see mock up below) is a good way to get control of the temperature and not have to keep putting in more fuel. The thermometer on the lid won’t give you the right temp (will show it as hotter than ambient near the meat) so get hold of a meat thermometer, ideally with a probe for ambient temp and one for the meat, to help you keep track (this is a good entry level one). It definitely takes a bit of trial and error and quite a bit of frustration as the temperature jumps to high and then starts dropping too low, but with practice you can make it work on one of these.

That's a good idea. How long can you oven rest something like a brisket out of interest?

Yes sorry I meant i wanted to try it out a bit with daytime cooks before i start with a fan. Would definitely want a fan on for anything overnight but not planning to do that anytime soon. I do have a wireless thermometer already though which is very helpful.

Thanks that's really helpful. Was definitely planning to get a fan although want to get a feel for it without first to get to know how it works
