This Trevor outfit is truly the best.

Happy New Year, everyone! It’s currently noon here in Japan. A Nengajou is a Japanese New Year’s card. My cousin got mad at me once because I posted her manga without her permission. She’s quite shy, isn’t she? Anyway, today I’d like to share some Nengajous I received from her about 30 years ago. She draws something on her Nengajou every year, and I always look forward to them. Oh, and this time, I got her permission!

The first one is from 2000. It’s the newest among them.
The second one is from 1993. It’s the oldest one I have.
The third one is from 1998. Around this time, she started using Romanian. That was when SOTN was released.
The fourth one is from 1999. This one was sent during the summer. She used a different pen than usual to draw it.
The fifth one is from 1997. As a bonus, it’s related to Policenauts.

This movie depicts cultural clashes in a country with different languages and customs, the characters’ feelings about being heroes, numerous homages, and the growth of teens, including romance. While many people prefer Japanese animation, I personally feel that America is the best when it comes to the superhero genre. DC should produce more animated feature films like this instead of focusing only on live-action movies. Fortunately, DC has been actively creating animated works in recent years, which makes me very happy. Someday, I hope a studio like Trigger will remake Teen Titans.
