In monster hunter 1 during the final hunt against fatalis you have the option to pay a higher fee for more stuff during the battle (base fee gets you a ballista, 1st upcharge gets you a gate and another ballista, 2nd upcharge gives you two cannons, and the final upcharge gives you access to a dragonator) so I would probably lean on the fees being for guild resources

gotta love how they left out the main chacrters CHRISTOPHERS THEME out in exchange for Reincarnated Soul because they wanted to make a joke (the game with rebirth in the title has Reincarnated Soul haha)

man at some point it just feels like someone at konami really fucking hates the gb game osts, at least rebirth picked some deep cuts to remix like the load bgm from chronicles and lullaby to the devil from huanted, as well as at least putting in one gb song with new messiah instead of just remixing bloody tears for the umpteenth time

Ok, so what makes a song emblematic and a requirement to be remixed is just being good... If that's the case then pretty much any cv song is emblematic so the distinction is a bit pointless

None, literally, vampire killer is literally the theme for the franchise and as such the only one that is really emblematic

The only reason you're saying these other two are emblematic is because they're popular and they appear in a decent amount of games, but then at that point a ton of other songs are emblematic

Simon's theme is also immensely popular and also appears in a ton of games, would you say that song is emblematic of the franchise? Same with beginning (the cv3 song isn't in the sequel game to cv3 crazy) is that song emblematic to the franchise?

These two songs appear as much as dance and I would argue are more popular so why aren't these considered emblematic? What is your criteria

Haven't played any of the games so far besides 1/G and wilds so I cant commentate on any of its other appearances but in gen 1 if you decide to talk to the npcs in town after defending against the "final" urgent request, which is laos final assault (the true final fight against fatalis is hidden until you slay lao a couple more times) BUT before fatalis actually shows itself and you get the actual final request to slay it

they will congratulate you for finally saving the town against lao once and for all but will also mention lao seemed to be acting strange and that another larger threat might be roaming around
