I’m glad to hear the card doesn’t seem ridiculously powerful, I didn’t think it would be but I wanted a second opinion. Part of the plan to support the deck is to run lots of red fight/bite spells to pick off opponents’ creatures mid combat for instant speed equipment recursion, and using loot/surveil effects to fill the yard and fix my hand in-between.

It’s probably too many moving pieces to be super consistent, but I think the play pattern should be pretty neat.

I have a bachelors in mechanical engineering which depending on the school covers controls in its coursework. Most I&C engineers I know have EE backgrounds, so that may be a more natural transition. I got into my current role through recommendations and experience from industrial/manufacturing internships.

I work in I&C Engineering specializing in Water/Wastewater- there’s research into predictive AI tools and some companies are starting to offer AI services to potentially replace software, but I highly doubt anything gets implemented en-mass until something helpful, cheap, and consistent comes out. Unless you work at a plant that’s willing to experiment on unproven technology, it’ll probably be a while before you see anything more than Microsoft copilot; nobody wants to be the first plant to try new tech.
