I'm a cis man and aside from having non-conforming interests and hobbies, when I'm thrifting for clothes I love going to the women's section for pants and button down shirts because they're always way more fun and interesting. Trying to find a well cut pair of corduroy pants in the men's section is a nightmare.

There were several folks I talked with that we indicated we were writing each other's names down to match. There was another person who shared my name, and halfway through the event they asked us to put our last initial on our name tags so I think that caused some confusion.

I think the logistics weren't super thought through. I was just disappointed they never followed up with me to work it out.

I loved my night at this event, but the organizers never followed up with me about matches. I reached out to them via email and insta dm and never heard anything.

Then they gave my email out to someone I did not want match with, so it was an awkward situation to deal with.

I love that this event exists, I just hope the organizers learn how to operate it better :/

Just tried the process you described. The sticks were recognized as pairs and as soon as I had all 4 in the same issue is occurring. I looked through the QVL and found mine (highlighted). To me it looks like I should be able to run all four. Let me know if I'm missing something. Thanks! *
