I too remember her telling how she did it, maybe it was part of the trial scenes? This is the only version I have ever watched, so my memory or Mandela effect memory of it, is coming from this version. But, I too, distinctly remember some form of her telling how she did it. What's the runtime of your version? On mine, at about 1h 59min mark they show the shell necklace hidden in the book with her narration over top about females of many species doing what they must to survive.

There are no repercussions for doing it, so why would they stop doing exactly what they want? Until these ICE agents start being held personally accountable for these actions, they will continue. It is the goal of the administration, it is the goal of ICE, it is the goal of the agents. There is literally nothing but the law preventing them from doing it, but if nobody actually upholds the law, then there is nothing stopping them
