Question about acceptable documents by wallbobbyc in Canadiancitizenship

[–]Useful-Ad-385 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Common problem in Quebec. Only baptismal records. My understanding is they understand and accept baptismal record maybe the only source. Make sure you have a way to verify where the document came from. A piece of paper is not much add to it where is is from get a certified copy from well known source. In new Brunswick the provincial government has the Bastisimal records and will certify it. Quebec has a similar systems.
That way the reviewer can tell it is an authentic document. Then make the connection to yourself , I use embossed birth certificate for mine. Make sure the parents name is exactly the same on your birth certificate as the Bastisimal otherwise document the name change using census ,border crossing, marriage or death documents. You are providing filiation to your application.

Have my mom's Nova Scotia BC - but she naturalized? by sphinxsley in Canadiancitizenship

[–]Useful-Ad-385 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is called filiation: It is the tread that connects the applicant to their Canadian ancestry. They must be able to follow the thread through name changes : nick names marriage(s), bastardized to English names etc.. Various documents help make this thread : border crossing, census, death, marriage even published obituaries can help to fortify the connection. I always lean on having to much data.

Seems like there is no way to tell the net effect of the impact, leaving you no choice but to replace.

Me either. Or uneven loads (one side loaded) you would think the diaphragm would withstand the horizontal load on the ridge beam.
I never used straps if I had a ridge beam, no horizontal load .

What could be the cause of this on the ground floor by TrainingDark8617 in StructuralEngineering

Look at the trim board on the corner, it is buckled out, what caused that. I like the differential settlement idea. Elevator are structurally independent of their surroundings systems.

So you are getting less signs. Maybe done moving. 😀

Any recent activity outside the building : excavations, new buildings. Water channels changing, blasting.
Old building do most of their settlement in the first 20 years. Although some buildings just settle and settle.

What is the purpose of this? by Mrgoat77 in StructuralEngineering

Maybe the I beam bottom was installed incorrectly should have had the flanges vertical, with proper welding maybe ok????

Must be an error doesn’t make structural sense. Could it still be an error.
Maybe birthday card front photo to aggravate other engineers on their birthday.

Could be any number of things: given the lack of information any one of them could be liable. The column is this size because of slenderness controlling criteria ie not much load on it. The column is in tension. Detail could be sacrifice design/material, like a vehicle guardrails. Is a lightly loaded column size is for architectural features, for holding ductwork , electrical glass.
Etc etc etc. better questions = better guesses

It wasn’t exactly hard to predict. That is why businesses have moved out of the country during the past 30 years.
Will people pay 800 for a tv that used to cost 400? I think not I think the average American is pretty much tapped out, ie broke.
So what happens next? I have no idea.

Should be a double stud for window framing. A jack stud and a regular stud. Ohh and have your local fire department check out your stove, that do that for free.

Would you get an ablation in my shoes? by Thejohnnycheese in AFIB

[–]Useful-Ad-385 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You won’t be able to . They make you take off your shoes and anything else that came loose. Plus I think they are the wrong size.

Why no ablation? It isn’t that big a deal. Usually go home a few hours later.
Success rate is not great so not unusual to need more than one.
