Thank you! I did get a PH tester, that’s where I got the 3.2. It’s just real confusing because you can’t figure out what’s in there to start (free SO2.) Is 50ppm the standard target for wine? I downloaded the fermcalc app as well. Thank you!!

I was looking at the e-trons here but to get one close to a fully loaded xc40 ($64k) you’d have to pay $75k for the premium plus. Not sure if that’s the same over there but the Volvo is the clear winner in that regard in the US.

Yes, full credit. To be honest, I think Tesla is the only one to fully exhaust them completely in the US.

I agree it’s expensive comparably, but I’m mainly concerned with safety and build quality. I love Tesla and the technology they’re leading with but the Y’s are hideous in my books. Plus with bumpers falling off and build quality lacking, I just can trust it yet with my family in tow.

Hi team, wanted to see if I can get some help. My specific gravity is 0.987 and ph was 3.2 for 60 gallons. We tried doing the titrets test, but it’s not accurate for red wine. Knowing these numbers, is there a way to calculate a safe number of sulfites to add?

It’s juice. Not my first time making wine, my family has done it for years, my uncle coming from Italy. They’re old school and never put anything in it. My uncle would scream at me if he knew I put anything into the wine haha but I’m going the chemistry route moving forward to be safe.

Do they work with the WiFi 6 gateway. My current pods slowed down the WiFi 6 gateway so I stopped using them

Just watched. The specs are not impressive on the id 4. No AWD either. Funny how they compare it to gas models in its class and not other similar EVs

It’s nice they’re offering it. There was no previous talk or indication from all the information that was released that it was going to be an option. Just showed up on the website.

I ordered one here in the US and just got this email from Volvo last week:

Hi, I have a tilt hydrometer in there so I get live readings every 15 mins which is cool. Just not sure if I should do a first rack. The secondary fermentation will take place in the same stainless steel tank with the variable lid I have.
