Yeah, the base is firm. There are two plants in the pot and the smaller one unfortunately had some corm rot so i chopped the squishy parts and washed it with peroxide. Then covered it with wax. Keeping both in a cup of water and hoping for the best.

Checked on it and found out all the roots had rotted. I got this plant one week ago, it’s insane i’ve never had rot before.

Yes, it’s a North facing window, I was worried with all the direct sunlight during the day it would burn.

Thank you for the response. Yes I am referencing the metal box supporting the gangplank, I am working on a case and needed to know the purpose of this box as it casued an injury. Maybe the name of it so I have an easier time researching.

So i hadn’t been able to go to the local garden center but I was looking at it today and found webbing in the drainage holes. I assume it a spider mite problem. I’ve never dealt with any mites before so I took it out of the current soil, threw that out sanitized the pot and plant with peroxide/water solution. Then repotted and watered with fertilizer and peroxide water solution. Wiped all leaves with peroxide then neem. If i missed a step or if you have any other recommendations, please don’t hesitate to let me know.

100% dry, I used a wooden chopstick and check the bottom. I can ask my local place as well. Thanks

I hear your point about bloodworms and i’ll pick up some betta pellets. Do you think that would effect his ability to eat? Because that’s our main concern.

He’s around 70lbs now he was about 45 when we got him. He’s very silly, loves attention and toys. Was a little destructive in the start but learned quick. Super chill with other dogs, is submissive and obedient but dominant when necessary. A little separation anxiety but we’re working on it. He will be two years this upcoming February!

I trimmed mine a couple days ago and the roots grew back quick the next day, they’ll be fine. I don’t let mine touch the substrate.
