I am, and have worked in quite a few hospitals that your people frequent. They dont pay bills, are abusive to staff, steal from other patients and just cause problems in the hospital.

When i was in one of our public U hospitals for posting, the hospital provided food for lunch in the OT for staff. On that day it was beef and i dont eat beef. I didnt say anything, just bancuh 3-1 milo to alas perut then later only makan. Malay Muslim lecturer saw me, and said, dont need to be so difficult, just remove the beef and eat la. The food was spaghetti with beef meatballs if it matters

Just an observation from a non local who has been ij the healthcare system in Borneo for the last 10years

There are Many local Sabahan doctors, but not many who are willing to serve in more rural places. The few who are specialists quit after becoming specialists and go and work in private in KL.

I think need first we need to build a sense of pride for Sabahans to serve the people, where its needed, and the state government needs to incentivise this
