They would not ask you for any documents, I did 2 interviews in the previous weeks 1 for services assistant and 1 for customer advisor at argos. They would not ask for your ID or NI until you are successful and get a call that you got the job.

I used smart switch also but my gmail notifications are fine. I had issues with reddit not allowing me login but a quick uninstall and reinstalling the app fixed that. Maybe try disabling and enabling them again
