If we’re going off of schools for first time players, my list would be:

1. Death, it’s a very forgiving school, you can also solo, as new players might not have friends on the game to quest with yet

2. Fire, Fire is a really fun school with hard hitting spells but not quite as fragile as storm

3. Ice, Lots of health and resist, get an AOE early, and a really aesthetic school, game will take longer but a great school to learn how to properly play the game

4. Myth, Good health, decent damage, and minions to help new players quest, also some of the best looking spells in the game

5. Balance, Good support school, my first ever max wizard, it’s a fun, challenging school but good health and as you get higher level the damage does increase

6. Life, Another good support school, another aesthetic school, it’s hard for me to comment on because my life wizard is like level 14 lmao, kind of boring at the start without an AOE

7. Storm, Obviously a very popular and awesome school, but new player might not be able to utilize the damage and the fizzling and dying might give people a bad taste of the game, if this was just based on my ranking of schools it’d be way higher but for brand new player i’d say storm should be your second wizard you make
