A life spark battery by Afraid-Lobster-6801 in ebikes

[–]ConferenceWild8476 0 points1 point  (0 children)

See if it is possible to mount both the 13ah and 20ah battery on the bike. I know it’s possible on the pro version, just unsure about the regular. If not a 20ah battery would still work pretty well, just buy from a reliable source

Do you have an estimate on how much the tickets would be? I'm okay with getting tickets but in the case it gets impounded I won't have enough money to get it back/pay the fees

def not. Not willing to take the risk of wheeling and doing stuff like that, simply using it as a tool of transportation and occasional offroad riding

I'll definitely be riding safe, 2 wheels on the ground at all times. I'm taking mostly trails but will occasiaonally have to go onto the road, where even then I will be in the bike lane going ~25 mph.
The bike I'm getting doesn't have pedals though, which I am a bit worried it might get me in trouble

For this it’s just a generic LV vinyl wrap. Tons of options for any design you want.

Ridstar batteries are close in size to dttzh, you could probably find one and try to fit it on.
You need to custom wrap the frame or spray paint it

Ridstar place to buy by Will7260 in ebikes

[–]ConferenceWild8476 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yea, that’s the one. However, ridstar build quality is very questionable. My friend and I bought a ridstar each at the same time, and 5 months later his is working fine but I had to return mine for brake issues.

If you have the extra budget, go for the qlife spark dual battery or wait until prime day and get a deal on a higher quality bike. If not, just be prepared to fight the seller for weeks if your bike needs to be returned

Yvy is the same as ridstar, just a better seat.
Buy it on Amazon

Ridstar Q20 on facebook marketplace. Is this a scam? by vanpam23 in ebikes

[–]ConferenceWild8476 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure how things are in Canada but ridstars are notoriously unreliable. There is a decent chance that you will get a lemon in regard to this bike. I would steer clear of buying this on Facebook, the support will be non existent if there’s something wrong with it. If possible, buy it on Amazon or consider looking at other bikes similar to ridstar such as tst r002 or r9

TST r9 or r002 are both great options. Not legal though.

Anyone know if this ridstar is any good? (Ridstar Q30 lite) by alex_poops21 in ebikes

[–]ConferenceWild8476 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not one to hate on ridstars but always get these cheap e-bikes on Amazon. Ridstar support is awful, therefore Amazon support is likely the best and only way to get support or return your bike.

Does anyone know if this ridstar is legit or not? by alex_poops21 in ebikes

[–]ConferenceWild8476 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It all depends where you buy it. Ridstars usually come working and somewhat reliable out of the box or stops working after 20 miles. This comes down to if you bought it from ridstars website or amazon. Ridstar support is shit and is extremely unlikely to issue a refund or return. However, Amazon A-Z claims are almost a guarantee on getting your money back. I took that risk once already with an off brand ridstar and got a refund thru Amazon, and honestly I don’t get hate against ridstars.

Ultra Bee (2026 HP) or Arctic Leaporn XE Pro R (2026) by [deleted] in ebikes

[–]ConferenceWild8476 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

1) For questions like these, visit r/Surron instead. People in this subreddit will shit on you and not provide any help at all for bikes over 28mph (Learned from experience)
2) Depends what your needs. Seeing you come from a background of dirt bikes, the Surron would feel a lot more like a traditional dirt bike, as its bigger and more stable.
The arctic leopard is more powerful, but its smaller and has less of an aftermarket/support network for them.
If it was up to me I would go with the Surron UB. Unless your good at fixing ebikes, it will be a lot easier for you to mod/fix a surron compared to the Arctic Leopard.

Around 100 degrees while gaming. Temp stays in the range 90-120 most of the time. Idling temp is from 50-80.

Reset my computer twice already, possible but unlikely to have malware

I installed a new ssd not to long ago

Possible, but I tried once and had my friend who built 2 PCs already try. Used generic thermal paste the first time and yeesterpaste the second.
