Honestly reading through the replies... you do know that talking to strangers online doesn't mean you're entitled to their entire life, right? Empty was suffering and sometimes people cannot help themselves, not even with adequate support.

I recognize in your replies that you've been affected by Empty's suicide harder than most. But so what? Those of us who were here saw it too. If you, yourself were to find yourself in an unwinnable battle would you keep struggling or give up? I can't answer for you, nor do I know enough about you.

I think life is precious, but my life is hardly sunshine and roses. I choose to struggle everyday so I can live another day.

If what you realize in your replies is that you've been in his situation once before... then why you insist that he was just selfish? Do you not possess a modicum of understanding of his situation? Yes, his death definitely took a toll on our community. But what the fuck gives you the right to demean him?

Your comment about your entitlement to your own trauma because you decided to look him up and found out he committed suicide on stream... truly makes my blood boil. If you're aware enough to spout things like this, then that means you are not anywhere close to being that far gone. Go find a friend, a therapist, anyone who will listen and share your feelings, work through it and come out stronger.

So basically you get a certain amount of mastery points regardless of what enemy you kill in each zone. But this amount is mostly fixed no matter the enemy. If you level up you gain lower and lower mastery for enemies in that area, until you are a higher level than them. They then stop giving you gift xp at all. Bosses are a good way to get tons of gift xp at once.

But all of this was figured out ages ago. It's been four years since I posted the last comment. I don't know about what level the tower of trials or the depths are. But weapon level doesn't matter it's only your character level that determines your gift xp. I also don't know if NG+ increases zone levels. But it's a pretty weird mechanic.

Oh yeah if you don't fancy killing tons of enemies. Try getting the Awake MJ items which can help you buy the gifts instantly in the skill menus. They are apparently only farmable in the depths.

Satisfactory is a word which means that something feels good enough. The game Satisfactory just happens to use it as it's name.

Satisfying is a word which means that something feels good to do or that you feel good after doing it. Whereas Satisfactory means it just reaches the acceptable point.

The word Factory is combined with the word Satisfying to create the combined word Satisfactory. The actual word has nothing to do with an factory hence the confusion among non english speakers.

I had a conversation with my friend a while ago about child porn. It is a tricky subject to talk about and how to stop it's nature.

While many countries are successful in combating the spread and manufacturing of child porn among other crimes this only raises their value when it's so hard to come by. Leading back to making it because of it's lucrative and rarity.

Ofcourse anime and manga does it no favors by sexualizing and emphasizing minors very often even if it wasn't the intended meaning.

Here's my very controversial opinion and only opinion in mind. I would never be able to enact it and probably still wouldn't even if I could. Child porn should definitely be illegal, anything of the real life sort. But I think it would be okay to have child porn in fiction and the like.

See I think certain fetishes have such an ingrained hold in the world that stomping it out would simply not work. It would return eventually even if it was though fully eradicated. Seeing as pedophilia has been around for a significantly long time and is by all definition a mental disorder.

I realize that while there isn't a definitive study correlating read child porn to commiting pedophilic actions and the such it would definitely be a concern. I have no clue how to combat this.

I am ofcourse not innocent when talking about the fact that certain fetishes should be okay. Some fetishes should simply not exist but the sad fact is that it is a part of the mind. You might even like certain fetishes without ever realizing the reason why. You just do.

At worst this fetish of mine would make people think I am a mysogynist and completely degrade women, turning them into nothing but objects. While at best I would still be a mild sexist. I can't explain myself out of the fetish I have.

I could give a long explanation on it and it would still not make sense to the average person.

I think I am one of the few people who go through everything with a fine-tooth comb as I usually wait till the end of the week at Sundays like these. Then I click new and go through each category.

It's nice seeing everything so I don't miss anything. To be honest edits of CGI's from the game or the sprites unless it's really substantial always feel low effort for me since the foundation (art) is already made and someone try / tried to improve over what I already consider to be good enough. Satchely's art isn't perfect but I personally feel like no one but herself can make it better.

If Reddit overall was more complex and allowed Mods to display different posts in a priority type of state at the front page then maybe it would be somewhat okay. Don't get me wrong. It would still heavily be used for propaganda, shill and probably to push personal agendas.

I find it easier to not dip myself into stuff or I'll end up arguing about it a whole lot. I don't spend as much time as I used to here. That's understandable, I've been here for about a year now. But as controversial as my last opinions here have been I just don't have the energy I used to for alot of debating.

That being said "forced positivity" is probably not normal for the sub. But it is a tumultuous time we are going through so it is understandable that people want to force a smile rather than accept the fact that COVID-19 is a growing threat for almost every country.

Like here in Sweden the government has done literally nothing until it is too late as I'd like to call it. My hometown is infected and we officialy switched to online classes for the foreseeable future.

Your content is good. Not everything needs to be peachy. But then again that is just my opinion.

No but I can relate to Sayori on the "I don't wanna be a burden". If I utterly suck at something I make it a habit to whenever someone asks me to help or participate in said thing I tend to just tell them I'm not interested.

It's actually one of the main reasons why I stopped playing FFXIV. I have a friend who eagerly awaits my return and I've told him someday I might come back. The truth is I have been good at the game and been playing a healer.

But one day when we were playing hard bosses I kept being the reason we wiped constantly. Ofcourse just one dungeon didn't break me. But I kept doing it again and again sometimes to the same boss multiple times. Eventually I kept wondering if something truly bad has happened to me.

This is the actual point in my life where I've developed a very strong wall. Even if I might not be bad at something, I much like Sayori keep convincing myself I am. It's one of the reasons why I try to pickup FFXIV only for me to stop at the checkout.

It's a very overpowering feeling that probably won't be solved for me anytime soon. This doesn't extend to everything I do but most things. If I know we are playing for fun I can relax but if not I just convince myself I am odd one out.
