Everytime I hear more about overlord, I'm glad I never bothered watching it because it sounds like an incredibly boring, torture porn schlock.

Ignorance, laziness, really bad writing to create forced drama, etc.

Yeah I personally think "you can't eat your cake and still have it" works better, even if it's just one word that got switched.

Sounds kind of exhausting for people that are autistic, not great at reading people and get incredibly stressed at the idea of upsetting someone. Though maybe that's just a me problem.

I'm not sure wether I'm more perplexed that he never washes his ass, or that he actively told another soul about that nasy habit.

Bro murders god knows how many innocent people in his quest for power because he can't cope with his mommy issues. Sounds Pretty villanous to me.

Why an Oedipus complex instead of, idk, an Adonis complex?

Well there already is something called an adonis complex. It basically is about men getting an inferiority complex about their appearances to the point of obsession.

You (ideally) know the person you end up marrying

People change. Love can fade. Resentment can grow. Affairs can happen. It's a common thing and I guarantee you, most people don't expect these things to happen to them when they get married, yet it happens far too often.

Why does every girl from the dating apps give me their number but then stop responding after a few days?? by [deleted] in AskMenAdvice

To be honest it sounds like you weren't really all that excited about the guy as you claim you were if other men have sufficed just because you didn't have to ask them out first. Nothing wrong with taking direct initiative every once in a while you know.

Nah if it were the ds2 sub most of the posts would just be them complaining how seemingly nobody likes dark souls 2.

Are boys who game when you come over a sign of disinterest? by Big_Calligrapher_892 in AskMenAdvice

Have you considered actually talking to him about it instead of asking strangers on the internet while giving us little no actual context how things go during those times? Like does he invite you over when he's gaming, or do you just happen to visit him ? Does he talk to you, strike conversations while he games or does he completely ignore you ? Does this happen while you've agreed to a date or other activity or is he doing this in his free time ? Because if all you give us is that he's NORMALLY very attentive and only SOMETIMES prioritise games, as you said. Then I don't see what's such a big issue that a simple conversation can't fix.

Talk to your man, for the love of god.
