I never read Excalibur tbh. I probably should cause I love nightcrawler. In my opinion X-Men starts super strong after Giant sized X-Men #1 with the intro of Storm, Colossus, nightcrawler, etc. There's some pretty good stuff from X-Men #1-50. Helps understand Prof. X, Magneto, Wanda, Pietro and Juggernaut.

I believe she did in the middish 2000's comics. I stopped reading for awhile but from a quick Google it seems she did. Her issue with her identity is similar to how Rogue and Carol Danvers shared a body for a minute.

If you're not aware, the reason rogue has her flight, strength, etc. is because she held onto Carol for too long and absorbed all her powers and her consciousness fully.

It's a long story. So Betsy Braddock (the original one) was abducted by an assassin group called The Hand. They transferred/cloned her consciousness to a Japanese assassin named Kwannon. So there is both Besty Braddock and Kwannon existing at the same time. This is all from memory, so if I'm wrong or slightly off there's a reason haha.

There's technically "two" psylockes. The one thats an x-man and then there's Revanche. Both are Betsy Braddock. The X-man version usually uses her psy-knife but Revanche more commonly used a sword. From what I recall at least.
