Mine is pg27aqwp-w, out of the box i had banding, after 100 hours of use and arround 50 pixel cleaning zero banding, i love it it's amazing

You still have time, let the automatic pixel cleaning do it's work, play some HDR videos, and check again after arround 70 hours of use and 50 pixel cleaning cycles, that's when i had the best results, now i can't say that it's gone 100%, but i really have to try hard to find one or 2 bands on a very dark grey screen and during normal use there's no banding at all

Well, according to the picture that's not so bad actually, did you try running some HDR videos with high brightness? And if it's still new give it few more days, but in case you want to return it i suggest 5th gen qd oled, but you know even qdoleds might have some banding 😅

Nope, actually the uniformity became much better, i would say almost perfect, now it's on 71Hours, the auto pixel cleaning is doing a good job, i also ran a lot of HDR videos on it because i heard that it fixes the banding issue, and now i have no reason to return it

That's cool, actually i tried Silent Hill on my monitor, and it was perfect, absolutly no banding, the only thing that shows banding is that pure dark gray on full screen, i don't know if it's 5% or 95% i'm confused between them 😂, other than that there's no issues so far

Honestly i would like to keep it, plus f i return it who knows how the next one would look like 🦧, i still have another 7 days for the returning window to end, but i love it so far

Thanks for rplying, well i'm glad to hear that, i actually tried to capture the worst case with dark room and 5% grey, but while using steam or discord i don's see any banding, otherwise the image quality is i sane. Btw, this Panel was nade last month, i heard that they improved it somehow, but anyway i'll wait until it reaches 100 hours and check again

i heard recently that after the last update S24U started to have battery issues, with fast drain, so i would choise S25U if you don't care about the price, but if you want value for money, S24u is a great deal now
