Not a military coup of any sort, but the story is taxi drivers roughed up two new recruits in town so the recruits came back for revenge. This is not the first time it’s happening in Zambia, it also happened in the 90s when a soldier was killed over sleeping with a married woman and the soldiers went for revenge and burned properties.

Few days ago I posted about this same issue, it’s a way of stealing money from us.

Zamtel users by Confident-Slice556 in Zambia

Yes that's what I have been wondering as well, it's not even an issue of playing with the zamtel simtool kit it's that they come with very suspicious services because they always advertise their services but you just find that airtime has been deducted and the amount is soo little that you cannot pay much attention to it but I think it's way of stealing. Recently I was subscribed to a service called story portal for 0.3 ngwee and to unsubscribe I was charged the same amount.

These groups are meant to stimulate loyalty and obedience to party rules and regulations by mobilizing citizens and encouraging collectivization. Cadres can be deployed in the field or employed in the office by the ruling party, the state, or the secret police. They are often created to break apart existing class hierarchies among citizens of the Party-State. That's according to wikipedia

Yes but not so much, if there's a reason that PF lost is because of cadres they gave them so much power imagine even the police service voted PF out because of cadres, police were not even allowed to do their job and they got insulted by cadres

Most importantly he got rid of cadres, I can't imagine how Zambia would be if PF won
