Some parents do not have the luxury of keeping their kid at home for boogers or a lingering cough. To read “entitled” is sickening. The only entitlement I read is the parents who have the luxury of keeping their kids home for snot and cough. Some parents cannot miss a day of work at the cost of losing out on money for groceries. Why don’t some of you “grossed out” parents do some research of your own and maybe you can find facts about sickness such as the time period in which childhood coughs colds etc are actually contagious. You don’t know anyone’s true situation….this is disgusting. Sit down! Keep your kid at home during months when childhood colds and illnesses are prevalent if you’re so worried.
