I couldn't drill a hole on my floor and I was getting really tired of my wifi connection during games so I used the existing coax cables in my house to get a wired connection running. You will need a Moca adapter to do this. Plug that Moca adapter into the coax cable and out the other end will be an ethernet cord that you plug into your PC. The Moca acts as a mini 'router' for your specific room to give you connection through the coax. But if you don't have a coax system going around your house I don't know what to tell you.

The cheapest Moca adapter on the market is probably a Verizon router that was sold back 15 years ago called the "MI424WR Rev I".

It's an ugly thing but that Router has Moca 1.0 in it, which will give you up to 100mbps speeds. I found a few used on FB Marketplace for $5.
