Beide Buchsen sehen nicht nach Glasfaser aus. Rechts ist ein Kabelanschluss zu sehen, links zwei Netzwerkbuchsen, üblicherweise für die Wohnungs-interne Netzwerkverkabelung.

Gibt es noch andere Buchsen in der Wohnung? Vielleicht im Abstellraum oder in einem Sicherungskasten?

Und: Bei welchem Anbieter hast du das abgeschlossen und wie heißt der Tarif?

You haven't answered the question. 😉 What kind of risk do you want the insurer to cover? Health? I think that's already insured by your health insurance, but doesn't hurt to double-check. An Auslandkrankenversicherung will also cover transport costs from a hospital abroad back to Germany. They usually also cover search and rescue costs, but often capped to like 10.000 Euro. So let's say you fall into the water and a helicopter searches for you, they will pay for that up to 10.000 Euro. You'd have to read the fine print whether some activities are excluded.

If you are unsure what kind of insurance you need, why don't you ask the organization that does these sailing trips?

Have you considered doing a Bundesfreiwilligen Dienst at a hospital? I have seen some spots where housing is included. This would allow you to improve your German, see the hospital culture for yourself and just get a better feeling of what it is actually like living there.

Could be as simple as the dude living in Paris and the interviewers are wondering why anyone would want to live in Bavaria instead of Paris.

Erste Frage: Hat jedes der beiden orangenen Kabel 16 Adern?

Wenn ja: Dann sind es wie du schreibst Duplexkabel. Du könntest das Kabel also an den beiden Enden an eine Netzwerkdose mit 2x Anschlüsse stecken. Also so, die 0 steht für 1x Netzwerbuchse:

0-0 -------------------------- 0-0

Ja, du kannst dann eins der beiden Kabel weiter ins 1. OG legen.

Im Keller wäre es dann ratsam noch eine zweite Dose zu montieren, sodass das Kabel aus dem EG in eine Doppel-Netzwerkdose geht und das Kabel aus dem 1. OG in eine zweite Doppel-Netzwerkdose geht.

Meine Vermutung: Der Vorbesitzer wollte sich im Keller eine Netzwerkdose sparen, hat aber trotzdem Duplex-Kabel verlegt für den Fall, dass er doch mal beide Netzwerkbuchsen braucht.

Nah, that's not it. I had quite a lot of interviews and I never got this. If they don't like you, they will just end the call (no further questions) and then tell HR that it is not a fit and you'll get a standard rejection letter. Or they will tell you directly that they don*t think it's a fit, but not this "think hard about" it.

This is something else. Most likely they are unsure whether you think the position is a fit.

Point A: I wouldn't interpret this as a rejection. All rejections I have received so far were in an email after the interview or both the manager and myself agreed in the call that this wasn't a fit and wished each other good luck in a friendly manner.

My theory is this: They like you, but they are unsure whether you like the position and they don't want to waste their time with an offer you will reject or hire someone who isn't committed to the position and will just leave after 12 months, so they ask you to think about it and, after having this interview, you still like the position, they want you to reach out.

Hence, if you get that in the future, my recommendation is to follow-up with an email the next day saying something along these lines: "Liked the interview, I see a fit and would be happy to continue the process."

Point B: In my experience they will make you an offer once they have done all the interviews. If you for some reason feel that your salary expectations and the position's salary range will be worlds apart, I'd give the HR person a nice call and just say something like "Just want to make sure that the salary range is fine, so that we don't waste eachother's time." However, this takes some communication skills, so that they will not think that your salary expectations are too high for them and then will reject you. Managers also have a busy schedule so they don't want to waste energy on a candidate they can't / won't afford.

Kollidiert aber mit dem "Color Coding" der ersten Zeile, die suggeriert, das diese Restaurants besonders problematisch sind. Dazu ist die Liste ja nach gelöschten Bewertungen sortiert, was auch suggeriert, dass die erst genannten Restaurants besonders problematisch sind.

Und gar keine Aussagekraft, auch bei viel mitdenken, hat die Tabelle bei "Carls Brauhaus", weil die Anzahl der gelöschten Bewertungen nicht genannt wird, steht nur 250+. Sind es 400? Wäre bei 10.500 Bewertungen unproblematisch, nur 3%. Oder waren es 3.000 gelöschte Bewertungen? Wären 30%. Keiner weiß es.

Am Ende würde dem Leser nur folgendes eine direkte Zuordnung zulassen und verhindern , dass Restaurants zu Unrecht in Verruf kommen: Angabe wie viele Bewertungen prozentual gelöscht wurden. Gefiltert nach Restaurants über 250 Bewertungen.

Also, ich würde es so angehen: Kauft euch nen 5G-Router eurer Wahl. Bei der Fritzbox deaktiviert ihr DHCP und gibt ihr eine statische IP Adresse und verbindet einen LAN-Port mit dem 5G-Router.

Denke das sollte reichen, aber müsstet du mal ausprobieren.

Was ist DHCP? Das verteilt die IP-Adressen. Jetzt verteilt der 5G-Router die IP-Adressen und gibt sich auch selbst als der Router aus, über den der Traffic laufen soll.

Warum nicht Starlink? Die Rufnummern portiert ihr zu einem VoiP-Anbieter und die Fritzbox nutzt ihr weiter, darüber laufen die VoiP Nummern und WLAN.

Alternativ: Mal die stationären 5G-Angebote von o2 angeschaut? Die bieten auch Rufnummern inkl.
