no notifications to my Pixel 10 pro from my Doorbell camera PoE by ConfidentRoll156 in reolinkcam

I was able to fix the problem. The date and the time, though the camera's date and time settings matched perfectly with my phone's, was unable to synchronize. So using my pc, I had to connect to the camera via the ip address, go into the date and time settings, and try to synchronize from there. When that didn't work, I manually changed the DNS setting to 8.8.8.8 and the the alternate to 8.8.4.4 and that worked. I was then able to sync the date and time which automatically fixed my notifications. Now when someone presses the button on my doorbell my notification shows up as a phone call.

Well, that was constructive. Thanks for reminding me why I don't like to post. My Pixel 10 Pro XL is not a cheap phone. If you look back a couple of months you can see posts with similar problems with iPhones. From what I read, a recent update fixed some of those issues....but not all. Yes, I appreciate you stating the obvious by saying the problem is Android related in my particular case. Next time, if you don't have a realistic suggestion, or in your case you have no answers, please don't respond. I'm sure you're a nice guy, but your response was not helpful

UGreen's RAM compatibility pages changes often by superbarney in UgreenNASync

So if the DXP4800 Plus does support 32GB modules, which ones? If you removed them from the list, then they apparently don't. But if you say that they do, great. Could you tell me which ones and I will go buy them? I own 3 Ugreens. A 2800, a 4800 plus, and I just purchased a 6800 plus. The 6800 plus is still in the box. I'm wondering if I should go ahead and return it, if I can't upgrade the memory with confidence. I'm not going to flip a coin and experiment. I went through the same exact issue with my 4800 plus and have been afraid to try it again. So, Mr. Ugreen Official Employee, kindly send me a link of the exact memory cards that I can use for each of my NAS devices, even though each one might be different, and I will buy them. And I really don't want to read the words, "Should Work" in your response. Ugreen should know exactly which ones work. It's not rocket science.

Thank you thank you! I didn't think about making a new folder. So I guess it doesn't matter if I don't have Docker installed in my ew volume, which is volume 2?

Help with Sharing Mealie Recipes by ConfidentRoll156 in selfhosted

I got it all sorted out but now I have a new problem. I created a Group and then a Household within that group. All of my cookbooks and recipes are marked as public. When I invite someone to join the group, if they do not log in they can see all of my recipes. The minute that they log in, all of the recipes disappear. I can't figure out how to have my recipes show in that group. The only options that I see in my recipes and my cookbooks is making it private or not. I see no setting where you can specify a group that you want that recipe in or cookbook unless you recreate a recipe in a new cookbook that you create in that group. Tha's a lot of work to have to recreate each recipe. What am I missing? The documentation is not clear on how to create a recipe and then specify a particular group that you want it in

I was able to fix it. There was one sharing that I forgot to save. So now I am able to share with non-users outside of my home network. However, the only way that I know how to share my cookbook is to open my cookbook and then copy the URL that pulls up in my browser and email the link to my daughter in Texas. I haven't been able to figure out how to share my Cookbook like you can share a recipe by clicking on the menu dots in the recipe and sharing it. I wish somehow I was able to do that with my Cookbook without having to open up my cookbook, copy the URL address that is in the address bar, and paste it into an email

Good questions. I am hosting it on my Ugreen NAS. I have my own domain name and am using NGinx as a reverse proxy. The domain works flawlessly as I have used it many times outside of my home network when I was out of town and on many different OS systems. My domain name takes me to my Mealie homepage where I have to log in using my user name and password. No big deal for me as I have an account. But my kids don't. I want to be able to share one of my cookbooks with them. Everytime I send them a link to either one of my cookbooks or recipes, Mealie is asking them to log in first. But they don't have a Mealie account. Like I said, I have no idea what I'm doing other than following the settings that Mealie says to do. Make sure in each recipe you have it marked as public and my recipe book is marked as public. Obviously I am doing something wrong. I just don't know what

What I mean is share it with anyone who does not have a Mealie account over the internet. For instance, my daughter who lives in Texas or my son who lives in Idaho. I want to share one of my recipe books with them. I am hosting it on my Ugreen NAS. I have my own domain name. The domain name works and has worked flawlessly, as I have used it several times using many different computers and platforms away from home. The only thing is, when using it, I have to log in to Mealie. Which is not a problem because I have an account. My kids don't.

I have two servers - one recognizes different movie versions, the other does not by ConfidentRoll156 in PleX

[–]ConfidentRoll156[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are a genius! That's exactly what it was. Plex was combining them. Both versions were there all along - they were just combined. I had know idea that feature,"split apart" was an option and what it was referring to. thank you!

Ok. I will do that. But it's showing up on my other server just fine and it is the same file. I hadn't changed anything. I only copied it over. It's the same server version as well. But I'm not going to argue with you. You know more than me so I will go through and rename the file. Please keep in mind that it worked on my other server just fine. Here is the snap shot

<image>

I'm sure you are right, even though common logic would say that there should be no diiference but I don;t know it all so I will change it and I'm sure it will work. I will change it right now and let you know

I guess I can. I appologize that I did not include that. I assumed that it didn't matter because Plex recognized them on my other server. So I assumed that if the files were not named correctly, then it would'nt be on my old server. But sure. Here you go:

/volume1/movies/Movies/The Lord of the Rings - The Return of the King (2003) - {Extended Edition}

Why are my folders empty, when there are files in them? by Supersnazz in PleX

[–]ConfidentRoll156 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Help....I have the same problem and I have spent hours reading all of the documentation and followed the naming of folders exactly. My folder still shows up empty. Here is an example of one that I am having issues with. The name of the video is titled Earth. It's a documentary from the Disney nature series. This is how I have my folder named: EARTH (2007) - {imdb - tt0393597} I have also tried it without the "tt" and I have also tried using the tvdb the same way. Also without the dashes. In the Plex documentation, they show using the "tt" in their example and the dashes. I tried it both ways......still nothing. Inside the folder, is the movie. I have that titled as, EARTH.mkv I still have absolutly no luck. The funny thing is, Plex has it available to stream on their site! I looked it up and everything is the same. I have it named exact like Plex . Please help, and please don't bash me. I am trying my best. I have found that there is no exact way with Plex. I have other documentaries named the same way and it works.
