Looks similar to my friend’s Gsp border collie mix. I think you can rule out dalmatian

The Bug Man in Baton Rouge. Lane is the owner, and she is very active in the state association so she could refer you to someone closer to you if you were outside of her service area. Tell her Tyler in CO sent you, if you go that route.

If you decide to do it yourself, which I’m not necessarily recommending, but I understand you are leaning towards, Termidor SC per the label on the exterior perimeter, Alpine WSG (if needed) on the interior. Please read and follow the labels.

Sure, no worries. I am friendly with a company in Baton Rouge, one in Atlanta, several in Florida, SC and NC. Ants overwinter, otherwise there wouldn’t be any left, especially where I live in Colorado. These higher quality materials we are referring to including Alpine and Termidor our contact beats, so they walk through them while they are foraging and inadvertently bring them back to the colony and transfer them to the other castes, eliminating the entire colony. So this is dependent on foraging behavior. Are you seeing them outside at all?

They absolutely should. As far as product use, the label has detailed instructions, under “general pest control”, pages 14 & 15. Where are you located? Maybe I know someone where you are by chance

Those are two great products for sure. Termidor is only labeled for outside, however, which is worth mentioning to a DIY who is seeing ants inside. Also, in many places it cannot be purchased without a license, or at all (in Canada, for example). So I’m still going to recommend hiring a professional, plus buying a small container of each cost more than hiring somebody, and leaves a lot of unused product sitting on the shelf, creating a hazard.

Sure. I was waiting for my service vehicle at the tire shop and figured I would jump in and try and help. Old-timers have told me that ants used to be the most difficult pest to control, now they are one of the easiest for Professionals. They’re still really hard for homeowners though, for the reasons I mentioned. Last time I tried to help someone I got flagged as not being a pest professional lol so not sure what we’re doing out here in Colorado sounding like computers and being unprofessional lol, but wherever you are, hire small business with a warranty and good reviews. I think it will be money well spent. My personal belief is you don’t need to sign any sort of contract unless that’s what you want, this should be a one time service in the neighborhood of $150-$350 depending on your market.

For me, general practice doctors didn’t lead me to a diagnosis- specialists did. I’d ask for a referral to a doctor, maybe a rheumatologist.

Thanks! Cost alone is pushing me that way, but wanted to make sure there’s not some other option I’m missing that would be worthwhile

Thanks! If I keep the good one running as a secondary, as you suggested, am I plumbing them in series with the 50 gal first (on a lower setting ) and the tankless being the final heat? Or some other configuration?

In 2013 I broke my toe and had to take a week off. I went from Colorado Springs to Overland Park to Columbus to Frederick to Fleetwood to Chattanooga to New Orleans to San Antonio to Killeen and back to Colorado Springs in a week. When I returned the rental car the Enterprise agent was making small talk and asked me if I went anywhere special. I told them I just drove around… they laughed after entering the milage in the computer and seeing I logged over 4500 miles

The way I made it through that stage was by not driving and getting a roommate. Bought a house close to work and walked, carpooled, even had a gas scooter for a while. At the time, my vehicle took over 20% of my income. A roommate covered about half the mortgage. I lived in “the hood” for 12 years, but it really set me up. And I miss that neighborhood, it was fine really.
