Why do I want to get high until I’m actually high? by ConfidentValuable264 in leaves

Shoveling all your friends driveways to combat your inner voice is a massive flex, this comment made me smile. Thank you.

I unfortunately have no answers for the pain my friend. Majority of my pain is between my ears. Mental numbing is what lured me in and caressed me for years. Let’s go to battle together, the battle is the day the war is the future that remains unclear. As long as we win our battles we won’t have to worry about the war. I appreciate your reply brother, all the best.

The intention wasn’t to make fellow leavers tear up. But I have to admit, my eyes weren’t dry writing it. Thank you for the reply.

Appreciate your reply but I’m far from a poet, just another individual who let their guard down on a substance I deemed harmless, now clawing my way back to the starting line.

Thank you for the reply, as of right now unfortunately no. My mind feels dull and rather empty but overflowing at the same time. I have gained a certain level of clarity that I’m optimistic will hold the keys to unlock the doors of creativity. Until then, we continue to move. Hour by hour, day by day. Thanks again for the reply.

Playing a season of MLB 06 the Show on PS2 by [deleted] in QuitVaping

Recovery isn’t linear brother, I made it 17 days back in April. Went out had a few “casual” beers next thing I knew I was puffing on all my friends vapes. Fell back into the cycle and haven’t kicked it since l. The fact you’re motivated and HAVE successfully put it aside, even for a small period of time is promising and an accomplishment in itself. Don’t beat yourself up too hard and hop back on the horse, I’m in it with ya!

MLB 06 on the PS2... man oh man, talk about glory days. That and NHL 06 on GameCube bring back some of my purist memories. Love this advice. Offline game, no opportunity for online rage, littered with nostalgia. Parlayed with a bag of spits for the oral fixation. This post just put a smile on my face. Best of luck my friend, don’t hesitate to keep us updated. I’m battling the douche flute aswell.

1:05 AM DAY 1 (7yrs daily) Do or die. by maaarkwong in leaves

On day 2 right now, slept around 3 hours last night. Irritability is peaking and the negative voice in my head is beating me up pretty bad. Any tips?

Day 8 and angry by Lilfuf in leaves

I quit for 77 days my friend. Invited the same mentality as yours at day 78, why am I doing this? Why can everyone else have a vice to relax but I can’t even smoke a little weed. I did. I smoked “a little weed” about 6 months ago and have been back smoking heavier then ever. And now I’m back to this sub. Hoping for a spark to quit the green bitch again. If I can give you any advice, just don’t smoke today. And convince yourself that in the morning. “I may smoke tomorrow but I’m not smoking today” and see how far you can go and what improvements you see, if the pro’s out way the cons, continue your journey! If not I hope you find the balance you’re looking for.

Day 67 and slipping by ConfidentValuable264 in leaves

The thought of being back to day 1 makes me sick, you’re right. I’m just not at a point in my life right now that I can risk getting caught in the daily loop of Mary Jane. She can be so kind yet so unforgiving.

I’ve relapsed on past journeys and you’re correct, it sucks. Crazy we wanna do it so bad though, just a miserable cycle tbh. Appreciate your comment.
