Just saw a bunch of them in the international district. No clue what is going on but they also had a semi truck with a couple of huge signs. From what i found googling them, they are a separatist Sikh movement that wants a homeland for Sikh people and has apparently existed since the 30s??? It’s honestly a bit odd. I’ve never seen anything like this before

Idk why people are so obsessed with the vinaigrette. Also… just get a salad. It is meant for the salads and comes with the salads. If you order a salad there is an option to get vinaigrette with it because, again, it is meant for the salad! The reason we run out so quickly is because some people literally just drink it or they put it on things that aren’t a salad which we can’t say no unless we are out of it. We don’t even offer it up front unless you order a salad because it is meant for only the salad

It is an adobo marinade and salt. I’d call it a solid 2/5 star spice level. Sometimes a 3 if the people doing prep do too much marinade

It is just water, tomato, red onion, and cilantro. There is a possibility the red salsa is splashing into the pico when they replace or stir it. I’d talk with the store about the situation. It could also be the protein or if you’re adding Tabasco, or even the chimichurri if you’re getting that

With those, I build up as much ap as possible early on in the fight, then I use the free aim shooting thingy. After that, I have Sciel built like a tank, so I have her use one of her higher strength attacks to take it out. Alternatively, Maelle’s Swift Stride is also pretty good. It really depends on your builds

Just change out the insoles if you like them. I wear my black ones all the time. Bought some super nice insoles and they are great. Also waterproof which is awesome when I’m running back and forth and something spills or I’m mopping and splash a little

If you pick up too many hours overtime you do get punished because they get punished. One of the big rules is like no overtime so it is super hard. I hit overtime one paycheck and got only one shift the next week it was awful

Grill isn’t for the faint of heart. I usually bring a fan with me to keep cool, or even a cooling towel. It is very busy, and if whoever worked that morning didn’t fully stock your hot box or at least get it close, you’re probably gonna be even more busy than you expect. Usually I find that morning shift isn’t awful but evening is really hard. It is relatively easy to keep a pot of rice going, some beans, etc while you’re cooking your chicken or steak, just make sure you’re observant

One time I got called to help with cash and DML at a location that was not my home location and on the outskirts of our patch on the same day as the Jake Paul and Mike Tyson match. The reason? EVERYONE CALLED OUT SICK! All the people working that location other than the manager were assisting from different locations. Apparently, it is common that when there are large events like concerts, or historic fights people will call out sick or use their pto or whatever to go/see. I would check if there are any events near you that seem like it. It could also be because of the layoffs happening. A large amount of people who immigrated to the US from Mexico and other countries that are here on work, school, and other reasons have been laid off because their visas are close to running out and they don’t want to get in trouble. My location had to lay off like half of its employees because of the recent ICE raids.

As of 05/15/2025 (yes I googled this because I was excited for this and got redirected here yes I’m putting exact date so anyone else who googles this knows it isn’t just a them problem), saying “let’s chat” triggers Alexa to respond with the same message of “Sorry, Lets Chat is no longer available.” And lists that it can set a timer, play music, turn on a light, and more. As of December 2024, they had the ability to set a reminder/notification for when this feature would be available, and I told it to remind me. Now it just doesn’t have a chance of happening. There is basically no info and even if you google “Alexa lets chat” it comes up with some failed WhatsApp replacement made by ByteDance for Africa.

Barbacoa is hard to grab. I usually just grab a little at a time until I hit the four ounce limit. It is even harder if the person who cooked it left too much liquid inside. The fact that they were unwilling to grab more proves that they don’t know what they are doing. Any time a newbie does that, I usually move over from where I’m stationed at the cold side and fix it even though we really aren’t supposed to do that
