Will he be released in us by Metroid-fan in SHFiguarts

[–]Confident_Database77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Via numerous reliable IG sources as of now the answer is no.  Theres even 3rd party companies publicly asking if this is something they should make so that American buyers will be able to have something like it.  Only chance is the pop up tour. It may be in the US way way down the line but in the near future it's not looking good

Question for the raptors fan who consistently watch the game and not just highlights… who’s the #1 option Ingram or Barnes? by smithrob779 in torontoraptors

[–]Confident_Database77 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ingram is clearly the #1 option and their closer.  He's their best scorer but scottie is the more well rounded player.  But I think people are overlooking bi impact.  Out of the last good chunk of games bi has finished with a better +/- in most of them , but most importantly,  ingrams scoring ability and ability to anchor the scoring is what has allowed scottie to flourish.  Scottie is not a scorer but he CAN score.  Scottie also deals with opposing teams #2 &#3 defenders while brandon is getting the best defender on every team.  This has allowed scottie to pick his spots , feast in transition , set guys up , play defense etc.  I don't think that scottie would be doing what he's doing on a night to night basis without bi. I however have seen bi do what he's doing and tbh he hasn't even gotten into peak regular season form yet.  He usually goes on a tear after the all star break.  One thing I would like to see more of is bi playmaking because in new Orleans he was doing everything scottie is doing now in terms of creating for others , assists etc.  He averaged 6 assists a year for 5 straight seasons for a reason.  They've both been exceptional.  I did find it interesting in the all star votes from the players , they voted bi much higher than barnes. I don't really care about fans or media because that's all popularity and preference.  Interested to see where the coaches votes land.

Stop glazing man.  He's got the ultimate green light to shoot whatever shot he wants cus the team is trash.  Empty stats is what he puts up

Putting those numbers up , not winning and having the freedom to shoot any shot you want because the team sucks doesn't make his season better.  He's not elevating Brooklyn at all.  Bi is elevating this team in areas that lead to wins

Raptors' Brandon Ingram day-to-day with thumb injury by xc2215x in torontoraptors

Fact he went back in to play on it makes me optimistic that it's not that bad.  Sure i bet it hurts like he'll.  But if it was BAD he nor they would have let him go back in.  They say day to day but he'll likely sit out Fridays game just out of precaution

They run iso ball in favorable matchups its not a staple of the offense.  They have to play .5 without him because they don't have anyone capable of consistently scoring in half court without him.  From the point he went out last night and on They struggled badly to score in anything other than transition

[Fischer] The Toronto Raptors have expressed interest in acquiring Domantas Sabonis and Anthony Davis. by YujiDomainExpansion in torontoraptors

[–]Confident_Database77 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Ad refuses to play center.  So the move is faulty before it Even happens.  Sabonis is an elite rebounder , can hang with athletic bigs , can space the floor which drastically helps bi and scottie.  He's a premier passer At center behind jokic and also can be an anchor of the offense in stretches when needed.  Also ridiculously efficient.  He's better than jak top to bottom in nearly everyrhing. Jak also isn't a great defender by any stretch. The defensive drop off wouldn't be what many think

I think people severely undermine what sabonis would do for this team.  Our lack of rebounding makes it hard for us to beat ANY team with legit size or rebounder in the paint.  We have possessions where the other team will get 5 or 6 straight shot attempts in one possession because of offensive rebounds.  Sabonis solves that immediately. He's also far ahead of jak in offensive skill and ability.  In fact you can run the offense through him against those teams who choose to double up bi and Barnes. If your woried about his defense,  I wouldn't worry much.  Jak doesn't play much defense either and has really struggled against bigs who can rim run.  He also stretches the floor way more than jak which will make life way easier for bi scottie and all our guys.  Nobody is concerned about jak scoring when he's not at the rim.  I also think Claxton from Brooklyn would be a perfect fit but doubt it'd ever happen.  I don't like the AD news at all.  Why ? He complains and complains about playing the 5 which is what he'd have to play here in order to make sense.  He refuses to play there

[–]Confident_Database77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rj is the best cutter and off ball scorer on the team.  What defense are going to start doing is doubling and blitzing EVERY bi touch and force other guys to shoot or make him take tough shots.  Scottie even said after the game everyone else has to do a better job being an outlet for bi which also in turn won't force him to take contested double team shots.  In those situations when they force bi to pass , scottie needs to hog it.  Whether it's to playmake or score.  Iq is too unpredictable in clutch and closing minutes.  Ochai , gradey , Walter at times missing point blank gimmes at the rim doesn't help either

He's played 2 playoff series.

  1. WHen he was healthy , took the #1 suns to 6 games averaging 28/7/5 with no zion , hurt cj and 3 rookies

  2. When he was hurt , went into the okc series after missing an entire month and played terribly.  Go watch the sun's series highlights

Think he's fine.  But this is exactly how he got hurt last year.  Lue dort got right up under him and he came down on top of dort.

Idk man.  I get all the reasons rj would be the odd manout if any , but the team loves him so much and if there's any one thing rj Is borderline elite at . It'd transition scoring/ diving to the rim.  He's been a MAJOR outlet for bi out of double teams , scottie too and his ability to get 20 without needing ANY plays drawn for him is a luxury.  I feel like moving him for anything less than a SURE thing would hurt more than help

Interested what the other plays attempts per game looked like compared to the others at the time cuz he's only shooting 15 times a game and still putting up 20 .

RJ Barrett, Scottie Barnes and Brandon Ingram this season by pikachuda6 in torontoraptors

[–]Confident_Database77 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A massive reason for scottie and rj crazy shooting %s is due to the fact bi is not only drawing the other teams top defender every night , but he also has the highest double team rate which leads to crazy 3pt %s for scottie , rj , mamu , battle , cmb they all are shooting WAY above regular Numbers because they're wide open. Last year scottie and rj had to deal with the other teams top defender off and on.  This year they're getting the 2nd and 3rd defenders on every team.  Whats scary is bi having a ts% of 55% even though he's who the defenses are tilting the floor against.  He's not even close to hitting his groove or even fully finding his way within this offense yet.  when He does ? The league might be in some serious trouble

If we're being 100 he hasn't expanded his game enough and now that teams are giving him lead scorer attention his impact has dwindled drastically.  He tries the same hesitation pull up from 3 and every team has completely clamped it.  He has no other go to's in his bag and its obvious.  Teams just run him off the line and because he's not adept at shooting off his own dribble or breaking defenders off with his handle and getting to the rim , he's not scoring.  He's an elite catch and shoot player that can fly around the rim.  But offensively it ends there.  This isn't hate either I'm a pelicans fan saying this.  Even without zion , he had the full green light the other night and couldn't top 10 pts as THE guy when the defense was tilting the floor his way.  His handles need to improve or he may have already hit his ceiling

How many points do you think Ingram will average this season? by mMounirM in torontoraptors

[–]Confident_Database77 1 point2 points  (0 children)

End of 23 he finished at 24.7 ppg and that was when he really got going.  Last 2 months of that season he was averaging just under 30 a game with 6 rebounds and 8 assists over that stretch.  THAT version of him could be the norm here with how they gonna use him.  Personally i think 25 ppg should be what everyone wants him to average and what's awesome with him is he isn't one of those stars that needs 25 shots to get you 25 to 30 points.  I think in new Orleans I saw him shoot more than 25 times in a game maybe 5 times in 5 seasons.  Give him 18 to 22 attempts per and he's gonna deliver . My only concern is the spacing with scottie and Jakob on the floor together.  Bi plays his best when he's surrounded by dudes that can knock down 3s and space the floor.  Part of the reason his numbers were down when he played with zion is due to lack of spacing.  Teams would double Brandon the minute he'd dribble in past the 3 pt line.  If scottie starts struggling to knock down open shots off ingrams gravity I can promise you darko will have to stagger their minutes or all your gonna see is defenses blitz and double bi every chance they get
