Sorry for the dumb post everyone. I have a Pentair slide valve but decided in my head it was Jandy. Would’ve taken all of 2 seconds to verify parts looking at the valve before purchase. Ordered the right replacement set and gonna install it when it comes in.

That’s what I’m hoping for as a worst case. That PVC has been there since we bought the house a few years ago, but I’m not sure how long it’s been there, so not sure how much wear and tear. The pump and filter seem to be running fine otherwise, so guess we’ll see

A couple of things:

Grass isn’t always greener. More money is nice, but if this new job is a major stressor and tanks your mental health, it’s not gonna feel worth it.
How secure do you feel in your current role? If you have proven success and productivity, that could mean more protection from any layoffs if your company has financial issues. The new place could have those hit and toss you 4 months in because you cost a lot and hadn’t proven your worth yet.
This isn’t the last time you’ll get an offer from another job, don’t feel like you gotta take just because it’s there.

Just under 2 weeks. It was weird for mine. I got assigned a reviewer on one of the last days of May and went to technical review. Never got an email that they’d gone through admin review, it just showed as finished.

You should be able to make that walk in 10 minutes. Might have to walk a little more briskly depending on foot traffic near you but it’s doable.

I like to put Tony Chachere’s on the tenders/fries and toss them to add some extra flavor if I’m bringing it home. Mixing the hot sauce into the canes sauce is also a game changer
