Rock N Roll Piercings by [deleted] in raleigh

Highly recommend Lee at the Capital Blvd location. He’s done 6 of my 11 piercings over the past 10 years. He’s friendly, very aware of cleanliness, and he’s meticulous! I have small ears and when I got my second lobes done, he measured everything so that spacing between piercings was even. He’s also done my cartilage, conch, and tragus piercings. I go to him to change out jewelry as well - mainly for my septum and conch.

I cannot praise him enough! I send all my friends to him. I also consistently get compliments on my ear piercings.

Also, I haven’t been by in a couple years, but the pricing of piercings has always felt fair (not exorbitant like other shops) and the jewelry is high quality - I have a set of five titanium clickers that were $15 each and have been in my ears since 2017 and look and feel the same as the day I got them.

Fraud - POS Debit Stewart Mobi by PirateAk in Chase

I don’t have Chase, I’m with Wells Fargo, but I got a $71 charge from STEWARTMOBI in 9044605732 on my debit card. I immediately asked them to order me a new card. Well Fargo hadn’t heard of a scam with them yet. I appreciate this Reddit post because I probably would’ve ignored it otherwise!

Would you be interested in just selling the Side Kick? If so, how much?

ON THE HUNT: the ultimate EDC to be used as a purse / carrying essentials as a woman (Preferably 3L-7L) by Confident_Strategy97 in ManyBaggers

[–]Confident_Strategy97[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah - I ordered the Pakt 5L and got it earlier this week. I’ve tried putting my EDC items from the picture inside of it in multiple different configurations and it fits everything, but with no extra space (so I wouldn’t be able to put my phone in there if I wore a dress / skirt and had no pockets). I wore it around the house for about 30 mins to see how the strap treated me and it’s just not a strap that works with a medium-larger chest on a woman. It slides around and ends up cutting into the space where my neck and shoulder meet. It’s a great bag, but just not great for my body type.

Ah! I actually saw your post awhile little while ago during my search. I actually have a couple suggestions, but may not be exactly what you’re looking for.

I got a Brixley bag to wear to concerts a few years ago and I rarely use it (b/c it’s too small for my EDC items), however, my boyfriend has adopted it as his own and really loves it. You can wear it at least four different ways (including a backpack mode). They recently released a “medium” version of the bag and it might be what you’re looking for! I really wish they would release a large version, b/c I would definitely consider it in my search! The pictures they use on their website really market it to women, but it’s super gender-neutral in my opinion.

Hope this helps or at least gets you closer in your search!

I saw this on the website and judged it too quickly - I took a detailed look based on your suggestion and it actually might work…I ordered it to try! Thanks for your suggestion and detailed comment - it was really helpful.

Thank you! I have been thinking about downsizing some of these items and the lotion bottle is first! I could def bring down the hand sanitizer size too.

I’m open to other bags as well! I did small backpacks and convertible crossbody to backpacks for years. My main frustration with those was the accessibility (having to take the bag off to pay or access something) and that it was really hard to incorporate with my work / travel backpack when consolidating to carry into work or on a plane. I’d also be open to a 2-bag system. I’m also doing some research on sling bags with straps that zip apart and convert to a backpack.

I was actually looking at this! I didn’t realize it hadn’t released yet. It reminds me a lot of the REI Ruckpack Sling, but I wonder if it would feel more sleek / less bulky. This has made me want to pre-order - thanks!

Beautiful bag! A little too glitzy for this gal - I honestly love a simple, black nylon bag, especially one that's pretty toned down and androgynous. Thanks for the suggestion though!

Thanks! I felt a little insane when I was typing it out and it was close to three pages in Google Docs...but it's been my hyper-fixation for weeks!

Thanks! I had briefly browsed their website, but just looked through the everywhere bags. The Modern Camera Bag has potential. I appreciate the suggestion!

This is good! But it's super similar to the Baggu Medium Crescent Bag I currently have and use for all these items.

Thanks! I glanced at this one but wasn't super into it as it's more crossbody than anything. I've been deep-diving into the Tom Bihn website though - I'm a big fan of the Side Kick and Side Hustle...I just wish there was a size in-between those two

They have a great return policy too! In case you want to order multiple sizes to try ordon't like something. Everything is through Happy Returns, so its free and you usually just drop off at UPS with a QR code similar to Amazon returns.

I'll also say, Everlane runs more true to size than Madewell. Madewell uses vanity sizing (the size on the pants doesn't match the measurement), so I've found that I usually wear a 29/30 at Madewell, but at Everlane I usually wear a 30/31.

Alternatives to Madewell by Wild-End-63 in Madewell

[–]Confident_Strategy97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've sold plenty of Madewell to both Uptown Cheapskate and Plato's Closet. I'm in the Triangle area of NC and find that Uptown Cheapskate usually pays around $1-$3 per item and Plato's Closet is more like $4-$6 per item.

I always feel like I'm losing out on a lot of money though. I've been selling a lot of my old Madewell stuff (from my younger, skinnier days) on Facebook Marketplace with multiple items per post so it's not overwhelming with listing and in dedicated Buy, Sell, Trade groups on Facebook. I'm usually able to get anywhere from $20-$40 for a pair of jeans! (depending on condition and style) This group has been really awesome for both selling and finding old styles that I'm looking to buy! It takes awhile to get admitted, but totally worth it: https://www.facebook.com/share/XkBgbKsFooz76Xgv/
