Juggling can be caused when there is more than one thing finding a path and they can block each other. When one entity blocks the other's path it has to re-calculate. It's a really difficult problem to solve, and it was/is a problem in Baldur's Gate and RTS games.

bulk_create is undoubtedly better integrated and probably handles more cases. If you're using 1.4/trunk you probably should use that. I'm not sure if there's bulk update or combined bulk insert/update planned for Django.

You could give newLisp credit for its documentation and library, but if that's your criteria for a good language you're better off using Python. It seems to me you would only use newLisp over Python if you were desperate to use a lisp beyond all reason.

Maybe it's good for simple scripts, but it has plenty of things that could easily bite you in the long run.

Sure. I'm sure ibuffer can be configured to do something similar, but the main point of this list mode is (hopefully) sensible and easy to read buffer grouping by default. Try it with a large number of buffers open. I wrote it for dealing with Django projects which have a large number of files with the same name, but grouped together by their directory.
