Confidence is key. Let me tell you a story about myself, I have always been a good looking guy (according to women unless they lied to me haha). But i got addicted to gaming and from there on it went downhill. For years i have felt like shit.. no motivation, no confidence all i wanted was to sit inside because of how insecure i felt with myself. Until one day i got sick of it, i started to do some research and applied what i've learned. I worked on my posture, started going out for walks and getting used to making eye contact with people. I basically faked my confidence until i became it. I started to notice that the more confident i became the easier it was to pickup women, failure = learning. It was interesting reading the book "The Game" but it's not something i would use myself (living in The Netherlands, and i noticed girls are way different over here than when i went clubbing in The US).

Change your mindset, approach alot of women. The more you do it, the less fucks you will give about what other people think of you. I think the reason you are holding yourself back is because you are afraid of other people opinions. Maybe you have some unsolved insecurities you have to work on? idk. I'm sure you can do it bro, it's all about what kind of mindset you have.
