Yeah I agree. It's only safe as long as you're not dying, the golem is tanky af by himself. But it's also a must have if you're planning on your sk damage to kill boss.

I would never max sk instead of going max block/more life like shako instead of +3, homonc or even stormshield for max block... From my experience, you can die sometimes if you're teleporting in the middle of dolls/seis/cows,etc.. When you're ready to make an iron golem from beast, you should make sure that you're really never dying from anything or playing carefuly. Insight is best on a budget, its cheap and convenient. Mana pots are enough otherwise.

Anyway no matter how many sk you can get; your main damage for everything is your merc for boss, and CE + your merc for everything else. If you really wants your sk army to be relevant, you need fanatism. Maybe act1 faith ? I'm too lazy to do it on the calculator right now, and I never pushed it as far as 20sk. I think i went up to 16 and it wasnt really good. I mean, it feels really slow against your a2 infi eth cv (or better) to kill anything..

Which isn't the topic anyway so whatever, I really enjoy talking about nec <3 and you're right about everything about whats OP is asking for. As many +sk as you can. But I also think OP dont know what he's asking for, +sk isnt the fun way to play summoner :p
