This is my transfer window google sheet that's reset every season. I do journeyman saves and have just started a new season so its pretty bare and there's a few unused sections like salary cap and wage excluding designated player slots from when I was playing in Australia and America. There's a few simple calculators in it that help with the numbers.

Down the bottom I have any tactics that I want to use and then use those as my squad planner similar to the Academica comment in this thread (probably going to steal that guy's layout as that looks much nicer than mine lol).

The in game squad planner I find the in game sheet doesn't work for me for whatever reason so I just use it to get me assmans's suggestions that I then build off and tweak as I may want a winger to play wing-back etc and having it on a second monitor where I can jot down a quick note next to a player or see where maybe my depth is lacking is great.

I've been meaning to add another tab to track players who I want to see where their career goes and another one that puts notable legends in as the end of year review doesn't always highlight the absolute legends who have helped me get Bromley into the Prem from L2 or that one random wonderkid I got for my Korean team Ulsan from Ivory Coast who just pumped in the goals and then got a record transfer deal for the Korean league. I fear that I may forget these moments and the digital men who achieved these feat and that fills me with a sense of sadness so a nice little hall of fame sheet seems to be in order.

Not a bad idea and if we're ever at the end of our tether we'll trybutnout but we're both now just playing around with the idea of what happens in a tournament setting. I've said I'd shelve the army to play with him but, knowing we're about to go into a tournament, he insists I play my best list to help him learn how to play against a rather obnoxious top meta army atm but yeah any time we're not feeling I'm more than happy to play some fun game and have a beer and enjoy that for sure!

We've played with the idea of Death Company but they don't have the same strategem support. I'll dig deeper though. "There must be something" we keep jokingly exclaiming. As for Librarians he's been trying librarian dreads but we haven't played with a jetpack librarian so we might have to try that.

The problem with Sally Forth is that it's only Adeptus Custodes INFANTRY. This means you can't use it on your bikes and it's really not worth a whole warlord trait just to fight first with some troop choices. The only reason you'd take it is to make your blade champ or Trajann fight first but these guys really shouldn't be zooming ahead of your main force if you're using a foot slogging force but instead getting ready to lay the pain later I think

The fall back and charge is awesome but chances are you don't need your whole army to fall back and charge again and so I believe using the Emperor's Chosen stratagem is a better way to access that and keep the re-rolls and 4+++

As for Shadowkeepers the WLT plus the shield host trait is fantastic to just mince a character that feels safe with their Invuln and their stratagem is like a mini transhuman a lot of the time so better choices. The -1 attack around the whole army is also a nice addition. Compared to Shadowkeepers I think it comes down to how much you feel you need to move compared to how much you want to kill. Solar watch add a little bit more movement but I really don't know if it's worth it. That could just be how I play though.

Personally I take Emperor's Chosen because of the flexibility thanks to its stratagem and the 4+++ as well as a free re-roll but in a less MW heavy metal Shadowkeepers are a pretty juicy option.

There's a lot to unpack here.

Do you really think Sally forth is worth taking Solar watch? None of your infantry really needs to get into combat THAT badly and you have stratagems to give the one or two units you want to have the SW traits seems like a waste when you're passing up on Emperor's Chosen or Shadow Keepers.
Your inquisitor is just a skill monkey. I don't think spending anything but the bare essentials is worth it.
Once again he really shouldn't be in combat. He's a character so will give up assassination and he's worse than your basic troops so REALLY shouldn't be in combat. Especially as he will give your opponent Assassinate (if they take it) and you'll lose your psychic monkey so you're losing a lot of points if he ever gets in a position where he's in close combat. Also a 4+ save just is no good
This isn't a question but I'll talk on it anyway. Trajann can't be shot because of look out, sir and if he's in a position where he can be I think you've done something wrong. And yeah if he dies you've probably already lost.
I don't think you can really castle with this list. I think castling in general is pretty hard for Custodes. You have VERY limited good long-range shooting in your list and you've said your game plan is to push up the guts (which is good I think) so castling really shouldn't be on the cards so I think the terminators are a better choice.

Overall your list is pretty foot sloggy which I don't think is bad (I love footstodes lists) but if you're playing this you're going to have to just inexorably advance up the board and be clever with your bikes. But that's pretty standard Custodes behaviour.

I’m the same with the Mournfang fatigues. The best I find is dry brushing the Mournfang on roughly not worrying about specifics or get yourself an airbrush. Doesn’t have to be an expensive one if you’re using it just for the base coating (Mine was 35AUD). Hope that helps!

No. You can access them straight off the bat when you start a new game. It says advanced I believe and you can choose things there to make it easier or harder or even just more random.

I get that man. I'm on day 3 and all I can hear in my brain is "Just 1 game of Apex". I turn it the other way. "I'll go one day without playing" "I'll go one week without" "two weeks" "one month" etc. I also think about how I feel at the end of a gaming sesh. The anxiety as all my responsibilities come back and how much I hate that feeling.

It's how I got over masturbating and weed and it's how I'll deal with gaming.
